Pizzeria Kunugi no Oka — Restaurant in Yufu

Popped by here one morning when we were looking for breakfast and nothing else was open. The only thing served was the breakfast set but it was just fabulous. Surpassed all our expectations and we all polished off our plates. The ingredients were extremely high quality and very fresh. We especially enjoyed the yummy bread with eggs. Even the coffee was nice and not bitter at all. The interior was so welcoming and felt very cosy. The manager was so warm and friendly and made us feel at home. The pizza here is good! I recommend the paprichoza pizza the best. The rest of the food is average. We ordered the margherita pizza with the bufala cheese upgrade, a salad and minced meat and eggplant pasta. The restaurant is located on a hill so on a clear sky day I can imagine this to be quite a beautiful place to eat at. We came here at night unfortunately but the rustic mood is still there. In summary a good place for pizza and a quick bite to eat....

We came in without reservation but they still manage to give us a seat. Love the ambience of the place. Set in a quaint location nearer to the woods but has a clear view of the scenary. Food was superb. The pizza was thin crusted but fired to perfection. We ordered the lobster pasta and it was the best in a long time! Love the creamy thick sauce and the fresh, sweet lobster!
