Coffee West Main Store — Restaurant in Yugawara

First of all, the food is delicious here. And the location is very convenient, right next to the Yugawara Station.

But this review is for the amazing team at the cafe! I really don’t know how else to thank them for making a great trip into an amazing trip. My husband left his favorite jacket in the cafe, and we had already left for Kyoto. We thought we had lost the jacket forever. On an odd chance we asked our hotel in Kyoto to call the cafe, not expecting anything. The cafe found the jacket and went out of their way to send the jacket to our hotel in Osaka, our next stop. AMAZING! We are blown away by the hospitality and amazing services from the cafe and Yugawara in general. We will forever treasure this fond memory. Thank you West Coffee!

Food wasn't anything unique or special, but it was still very good (I shared the white truffle carbonara and beef curry rice). I came here for breakfast since there aren't many breakfast options in the Yugawara Station area, but my brother and I were not disappointed. 7月の週末、ランチでお昼前に夫婦で訪問。湯河原駅近く(別に駅前店もアリ)の大きな喫茶店です。 昭和の昔は観光地の駅前に必ずあったなあという、飲んでよし食べてよしのレトロな感じがイイ。席に今どきの呼び出しボタンなどはありませんが、ホールも慣れた感じの女性2名で、オーダーや水の追加など、よく目を配っていてすぐに気づいて対応してくれました。 喫茶店といってもとにかく食事が充実しており、サンドイッチからパスタ、洋食系までメニューが豊富。何でもありますが全てガッツリ系で、今回はミックスフライセット(ヒレカツ・エビフライ・白身魚フライ・カニクリームコロッケ)とカツカレー(アイスコーヒー付)を頂きましたが、必死に食べて何とか完食した感じです。 料理自体は材料を含めて庶民的。決して高級ではなくむしろジャンクっぽいのですが、ミックスフライのタルタルソースやマスタード(ホットドッグやアメリカンドッグに付いてくるアレでした)もたっぷりの量。ソースもウスターがガラス容器で個別に出てきて、とても満足感がありました。 当日はお昼どきでしたが席には余裕があり、奥のほうにキープされているグループ用の席(8名以上)も空いていてゆったりした雰囲気でした。やはり地元の方より観光客が多いようです。 駐車場は店頭に4台と店の裏に10台弱、割と停めやすいと思います。 料理の量と質の面では好き嫌い、向き不向きがあるかもしれませんが、雰囲気も好ましく、また...
