Fukusei — Restaurant in Zushi

I have spent this month of June working on a project at a nearby Woodshop, and during lunch I’d make it a habit to visit this place for their delicious food, excellent service and friendly staff.

I always get the fried rice, which comes as a set, and it’s been consistently fresh, delicious, generously portioned and always satisfying.

I like to sit at the counter and watch the chefs masterfully prepare the food for the hungry patrons. Their focus and teamwork is unmatched, the food always comes out perfect thanks to their skilled cooking.

The lovely lady at the cash is always a delight, she speak English well, but I do my best to communicate with her in Japanese. がんばります

This place is great! Inside is pretty spacious and has traditional Japanese table sitting area and normal table area.

Having a parking lot across from the restaurant is so convenient but there are limited parking spots.

The staff was really nice and provided English menu for us, It’s a Chinese restaurant so the Ramen is a bit different than the normal Japanese ramen but also really good and flavorful!

The Gyoza were huge!!! It’s the size of my hand 😆The dan dan noodles was our favorite, it was flavorful and a bit spicy!

They also have many other classics Chinese food there like fried rice, chow mein and ma po tofu etc.

I always crave this restaurant. I’ve been going here when I have time since we moved to Ikego. As someone who doesn’t eat meat, I have a pretty hard time going out to ramen restaurants. Thankfully the owners son speaks English and was able to guide me to the ramen options without meat.
