I love the decoration, great atmosphere, dessert trolley, seats outside and especially the ladies upstairs. It really made you feel like you're in a different century, in a good way.

Unfortunately their cocktails were 👎. I love my margarita so hoping they would serve you a proper one but God it was too sweet. Didn't like it at all. My husband ordered a mojito which looks okay though most ice in there. I tasted his and it was again too sweet. Disappointingly we both didn't enjoy our cocktails. Food was average, good atmosphere, a little pricey. Overall, It wasn't a wow experience for us. My husband wanted oysters but no oysters for a Friday night.

Anyway he went back with work colleagues and had the same experience with no oysters and badly made mojito. He forgot it wasn't nice the last time so he ordered the same drink. I reminded him when he got home that it was the same the last time.

I wouldn't rush back as much as I love the decor and don't recommend margarita nor...

Just came across this place whilst walking about town on a busy Friday night .... we're more than happy to accommodate us as "walk in" and we're seated outside , but as there were heaters was a perfect setting . Our "Italian waiter /manager was THE perfect host and his recommendation of Rack of lamb taken up on ...... delicious The sauce and mint ketchup were a taste sensation ...the potatoes and beans with nuts an absolute winner ....... Pudding was just as lovely crisp choux "tirimachoux" ...... Our "host" the manager took time out to chat and make sure we were relaxed and enjoying the "whole"experience ...and we noted he did this with all customers !! A true professional at his job and a huge asset to this wonderful place ....... but also a man who complemented the whole team he worked with ..... "best chef on the island "he told us ..... and he wasn't far wrong !!! Best meal we...

After a bit of shopping, we decided to order the £21 lunch menu today. The atmosphere appealed to us, but unfortunately the service was subterranean. Not only did it take ages for the first course to arrive, but also the other courses. We were also served drinks that we had not ordered. All in all, we were there for almost 2 hours for lunch - a waste of time - even if the fish of the day was quite tasty. At the end we were told that there had been a misunderstanding in communication. Our waitress was extremely unmotivated and usually walked past without giving us a glance. We still had to pay for the 2 double espressos we hadn't ordered, which were wordlessly placed on our table after we complained about the waiting time for desert (45 minutes). If the service had been good, these would have been on the house....

Five-Star Experience at Colmar Restaurant I recently had dinner at Colmar Restaurant in St Helier with a group of friends, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. We ordered the Lobster Thermidor and Moules Frites, and both dishes were outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The lobster was rich and perfectly cooked, while the mussels were tender and served with deliciously crispy fries. Beyond the food, the service was impeccable. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel welcome throughout the evening. The ambiance was relaxed yet elegant, making it a perfect spot for a special night out. Highly recommend Colmar for anyone looking for top-notch seafood and a memorable dining experience!

August 2024: as soon as we arrived on Jersey, we visited this place for a little brunch as we were starving. I ordered the Eggs benedict which was served in a big portion. The bacon was cut in thick slices, rather chewy than crispy. The eggs were cooked to perfection and the sauce Hollandaise was very delicious. All in all, the food was a little bit too salty and tangy for my liking but the quality was definitely there! We sat in the outdoor area which is well designed and clean. I would recommend this place.

Called off for a couple of drinks on a sunny Thursday afternoon, sitting outside with our dog. A lovely spot to watch the busy passers by on the main shopping street. Ordered a flat white and hot chocolate alongside a wine and a gin and tonic, and seemed to cause a little confusion by ordering them all together. Everything was served quickly and the lady serving was very friendly and polite. The flat white was particularly good.
