Blue Note Bar — Restaurant in St. Helier

Nice pub with live music. However, disappointed when manager/Owner, told barmaid to serve Port same as a Whiskey when she asked, we got it in a whiskey glass with a single spirit measure ! Gov guidelines state 50cl. This seems to happen a lot in Jersey, I think through lack of selling Port perhaps. Sorry, but we did not get 50cl Friday night just gone, regardless of size of glass, we recognised we got a single Whiskey measure. We know, as drink Port often and my husband saw the measure being the smaller size !! He was also asked if he wanted ice!! After the half measure, we did not buy another drink that we wanted as expensive enough without paying for half measures and didnt want to argue!!

Would be nice if owner just apologised for lack of experience and training perhaps, instead of saying 'Thats what you got etc' in the reply review. There were a lot of customers, so I doubt the owner remembered...

I have never in all my life been treated so appalling by the bar lady. She embarrassed me and accussed me. All the punters at Colmar were horrified how she facilitated and supported a violently drunk customer because he thought I stole his phone which I hadn't. I've been in touch with the police. Very disappointed, took my family here for a birthday drink. The service was terrible, the lady who was serving at the bar, couldn't have look less interested or been less helpful. Went up for more drinks and stood at the bar for 10 mins before anyone appeared! Should have done self service! Other customers were similarly disappointed with the service too.
