Crosstown Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in St. Helier

Disappointing. went for a light lunch with my wife... bought a bottle of still water ...it came to the table opened!!! Asked for one of our dishes to be made with no spices....when it came it was spicy!! and both meals were luke warm. ......had a beer and a glass of wine and the bill was £45 .....not great value for the price...but the waitresses did try and seemed courteous and friendly... pity that the lunch food menu ( in parts ) seems to be pre-prepared and not made...

The food was nice, entertainment was good, most of the staff were lovely (one server was particularly annoyed when one of our group mentioned in passing to the person sitting next to her that she was hungry and when dinner was coming, she hadn't had a starter and was hungry - the waiter who was walking past leant over and told her he was hungry too and she could see they were busy so... For which there was no need for and not really...

Popped in for an unplanned lunch. I got a lovely window seat. Cosy vibes and the staff were fabulous. I ordered a halloumi and also a cauliflower taco as well as some sweet potato fries. So many beautiful flavours and I think there was a grated or thinly sliced nut on there which really enhanced the tacos!
