My absolute favorite non-Jordanian restaurant in Amman serving up comforting Korean fare! You can tell the owners put their heart and soul into the place from the minute you step in - a lot of thought had been given to the design and decor and I appreciated the small details that transported me to Korea. The kitchen - viewed from the dining space - is small and so is the restaurant itself, but produces big flavors! We had almost everything on the menu and it was all absolutely delicious. Big shoutout to the tteokbokki, Korean fried chicken, and the bibimbap, as well as the homemade sodas (the strawberry was great; the grape a bit bland). My only comment is about speed - as it’s a small restaurant with just a couple of chefs working in a tiny kitchen, dishes can take a while to come out, so if you’re starving or coming with small children, I’d think twice before choosing this place. If you’re happy to spend a fun evening here, however, I cannot recommend it enough. The place is so cozy and clean. I love the tables and chairs, you feel like you’re a part of their home.
The service is amazing, the staff are so sweet and they offer cute tips on how to eat your food the Korean way.
I very much enjoy how the menu includes the Korean name as well as an English description unlike other restaurants that just leave you to figure out what you might eat.
The food is absolutely delicious. The portions are very generous. I especially enjoy their Padalk and Vegetable Mando.
My best friend brought me here to try it since I’ve been craving Korean food ever since I went to South Korea, and it really itched my scratch. I then took my mom two days later and it was mother approved 👍🏻
Would recommend this place to...
Read moreThe food was amazing and delicious. I love the genuine welcome and goodbye you get. It's hosted by a lovely family, always smiling.
When I visited, it was very very crowded and our food took longer because they forgot one of the dishes because of the crazy busy day they had. This was a one-time thing, as I've heard from multiple people. (Something with Korean football players coming over that day.) The waiter came to apologize multiple times and gave us some original Korean drinks for free to make it up to us.
This service totally made up for it, for us, and the food was really delicious and satisfying. So because of this, the lovely family working there and because I know it's not usually like this, I'd still very much recommend this place and...
