A Remarkable Evening at Elan – A Feast for the Senses! I had the pleasure of dining at Elan with friends last night, and I’m still basking in the memories of an unforgettable meal! From the moment we walked through the doors, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who radiated a genuine enthusiasm for sharing their passion for food. The restaurant’s ambiance struck a perfect balance between elegance and comfort, with subtle lighting and tasteful decor that immediately made us feel at ease. We opted for the Oriental menu, and I must say, each dish was a masterpiece in both flavor and presentation. The attention to detail was evident from the very first bite. The spices were so well balanced that each flavor had a chance to shine without overwhelming the palate, creating a truly harmonious experience. I’ve had Oriental cuisine before, but nothing quite like this – it felt as though the chef had taken classic flavors and elevated them to an entirely new level. The appetizers alone were worth the visit! We started with a mezze platter that showcased a beautiful array of flavors and textures. Each dip and bite seemed to tell its own story, leaving us eagerly anticipating the next course. The main dishes were equally stunning; every element was cooked to perfection, with meats that were tender and flavorful and vegetables that retained their freshness. The variety and richness of the spices took us on a journey through the heart of Oriental cuisine. The dessert was an exquisite conclusion to the meal – delicate, sweet, and beautifully crafted. It was clear that everything had been prepared with great care and attention, right down to the finishing touches on each plate. To pair with the meal, we also tried some of their recommended drinks, which complemented the flavors beautifully. Beyond the food, what truly set Elan apart was the outstanding service. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, always available to answer questions and offer suggestions with genuine warmth and knowledge. It was clear they were passionate about what they did and took great pride in ensuring every guest had an exceptional experience. In summary, dining at Elan was more than just a meal; it was an experience that delighted all of our senses. If you’re a lover of Oriental cuisine or simply enjoy remarkable food, I can’t recommend Elan highly enough. It’s a gem that combines culinary artistry with exceptional service in a setting that makes every guest feel special. This is a place I will be returning to time and time again!

We stopped for Elan twice while in Petra. The first was for lunch and then dinner the same night. Typically I don’t visit a restaurant twice as I like to try many places but our first choice for dinner was sold out of all our picks for dinner so we walked back here. For lunch we had appetizers of fried houlumi cheese and Arabian salad. For dinner we had the grilled huloumi cheese and the Elan salad. All were excellent, 5/5 For lunch we had the mansaf and lamb chops. At dinner we both had lamb chops and again, excellent 5/5 Bathrooms are clean with flush toilets 5/5 The restaurant is well appointed with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is first rate. 5/5 on both The owner gave us complimentary tea and baklava which was a huge bonus and unexpected. Will be back, it was great. شكرًا لك

We hired a tour guide, Talat, who, besides being very knowledgeable and friendly, also happened to own the Elan Restaurant. He invited us to come after our hike if we had the time where he would treat us to coffee and some sweets. We had a traditional Jordanian meal including lentil soup, a bean stew, and mansaf. His courteous staff took plenty of time in showing us how to properly pour jameed over the tender lamb. All of the food was delicious! Near the end of our meal, Talat arrived and sat with us, explaining how he had recently opened this restaurant and continue to do tours throughout the country. After dinner, he led us out to the balcony where we had cappuccino and the best kanafa of our entire trip. I highly recommend Talat's wonderful restaurant!

This place was recommended to me by a local so I thought we would give it a try! Really nice atmosphere here and the service was excellent! Our waiter Mohammed was really friendly and welcoming and gave us some mint tea and cake at the end of our meal. The hummus was the best hummus I had tried whilst on my trip to Jordan (and I don't normally eat it) so I recommend getting the hummus! I then went for the traditional Jordanian dish Maqlubah which was huge and really nice - although it was a bit samey and could of done with more vegetables and less rice maybe? But otherwise it was really nice and everything was cooked really well.

Elan restaurant was suggested by a couple we found in our travel in Jordan. We liked it so much that we went two times in a row for dinner! We were so happy with their hospitality. Everyone of the staff we had the chance to meet took the time to explain the dishes and how to eat the Mansaf (traditional Jordanian dish) on the first night . On the second night I even had the chance to turn the upside down casserole (second most known Jordanian dish) and make the procedure myself with their supervision :-D Good memories were made and we thank all staff from Elan restaurant for their kindness <3

The best restaurant experience in Wadi Musa, Jordan! The food is amazing and flavorful. Customer service is 5 stars! Friendly service. We enjoyed the Greek and Caesar salad, Chicken Sawany, Chicken wings, Pepperoni Pizza (our boys loved the pizza so much, that we ordered a 2nd one). The house made bread is beyond this world. For dessert, we had Kanafeh, available in soft and hard cheese. Both are so good. Excellent texture to compliment the cheese, with the right amount of sweet. Definitely a must if you travel to Wadi Musa.
