Rifugio del Monte — Restaurant in Almaty

Fantastic place to enjoy delicious food. Interesting tea options, my recommendation is with cones and raspberries. The salad with crispy aubergine was 10 out of 10 as well as salad with mango. At the same time the cheeseburger was just Ok, nothing extraordinary. You can also try fresh oysters. And of course there is a spectacular mountain view!!! So, all in all, that is definitely a must to cost place if...

We went here for lunch around 1300. Was told all the tables inside were fully booked until 1700. So we had to sit outside for a while until we had ordered enough food to warrant an invitation inside…the restaurant was only half full the whole time before we left around 1530.

We had escargot, flank steak, beef stroganoff, and duck confit. Everything was tasty, but the steak was a bit cold...

It was with great anticipation and enthusiasm we went to the restaurant on my Birthday, they said the its full and no space until 1700HRS. After reading the reviews i feel like this is their common practice to deny customers. Infact we went from Dubai and highly disappointed with this incident. The location is good but they have to work on...
