Worth the trouble of getting here!

Make sure you tell your driver to go up the Guerilla Zipline place instead of the ice rink, different side of the hill.

The food was superb, tastes amazing, amazing presentation; what a way to end my trip in Kazakhstan. Although, not cheap. A special place. Although, all the menu is not in English.

A shame that we arrived at night, to which I recommend coming for the sunset.

Cannot leave a review without giving the biggest thanks to the service team (hostess & waiter), who not only 1) helped us translate and recommend the menu to English 2) charged our phones for us 3) accommodated us to the rooftop despite the chilly weather 4) help call the taxi AND accompanying us to the car (big big thanks to the gorgeous and sweet hostess)

Without a doubt this was the icing on the cake for our visit to Kazakhstan (through Astana and Almaty).

Location splendida, con un’atmosfera curata e una vista suggestiva che rende l’esperienza piacevole dal punto di vista estetico.

Tuttavia, la qualità dei piatti e il servizio non sono all’altezza dei prezzi richiesti. Abbiamo speso 160€ per una cena con acqua, vino, un Negroni, carne di cavallo, antipasto di caviale e un secondo di carne: un conto che rientrerebbe nella fascia alta anche in ristoranti di livello in Europa.

Purtroppo, la qualità delle materie prime e la cura del servizio non giustificano questo prezzo, dando l’impressione che la posizione elevata e il branding trendy abbiano avuto più importanza rispetto alla sostanza dei piatti.

Con piccoli accorgimenti sulla qualità del prodotto e maggiore attenzione al servizio, SUNQAR potrebbe facilmente raggiungere il livello che la sua location merita.

Make sure to get here before sunset. The views from thai place is amazing. Also, make sure you call ahead and book for the best seats.

The service was phenomenal- we followed the recommendation of the host for local cuisine. All the dishes were amazing.
