A good place to get a late night meal.

We arrived here at 1:00 a.m. after a long 25-hour flight from the US. Looking for something small and tasty. This is a perfect spot for that.

Your wait staff will set you up with a bowl of Asian flavored boiled peanuts. I've had boiled peanuts in the southern states of the US and never like them because they are mushy. These still had a bit of crunch to them and were very flavorful. Tea is served complementary along with the peanuts.

The skewered meats are delicious and spicy. We had the pork ribs and beef skewers. They have the largest variety of exotic meats I have ever seen for skewers.

The noodles were tasty. The egg was plentiful and with a little red chili sauce it was perfect.

The service and prices were very good. The only reason they got three stars for the atmosphere was that some of their customers were extremely loud. This place is tiny and my party of three could barely hear each other over the other table in the room. I can see this being a fun place to go after a night of drinking but not everybody is in the same frame of mind trying to eat a meal. I will go back for those skewers, they had a lot of different varieties that I have never had and would love to try!

All things considered, this was a great start to my Kenya Noma vacation and I can't wait to see what other amazing food this country...

The restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere, with friendly staff and a comfortable setting.

The dishes we ordered were a feast for both the eyes and the palate. The dumplings were a highlight, perfectly steamed with a delicate and savory filling. They paired wonderfully with the spicy dipping sauce provided.

The cucumber salad was refreshing, with a perfect balance of crunch and tanginess, enhanced by a mildly spicy dressing that added a nice kick. The silk noodles dish was light and flavorful, with fresh greens and herbs that complemented the tender noodles.

Accompanying the meal was a cup of aromatic tea, which provided a soothing contrast to the spicier elements of the meal.

Overall, Silk Noodles is a fantastic spot for those looking to enjoy authentic and delicious...

Stumbled across this nice small Chinese joint through Google Maps suggestion. The pictures looked interesting, so decided to give it a visit on a Saturday afternoon. It's a small cosy place. The menu is not too vast, but does the job. The BBQ menu starts only after 5.30 pm. The place tends to get a bit hot in the afternoon if the temperatures are 25+. Expect a per head cost of about 1000 KES. They do serve beer as well. The owner/host didn't look like she understood English very well, but the servers/waiters were well-versed and very helpful. Would definitely like to visit again, this time in the evening, to try those delicious...
