Neighbourhood Grill — Restaurant in Nairobi

Found this place via social media and I went to the sit in branch at noon on a weekday. I had called prior for directions but it was pretty easy to find. To be honest the food was very good, the Ugali portion needs some adjustment though. I ordered pork ribs done tamu tamu style (I recommend) and Ugali. My date ordered pork (cubes) tamu tamu style with potato wedges. Clean washrooms are a big plus as well. My biggest complaint is the waiting time just is too long. The waitstaff too do very little to even help with the situation. What I was told would be a 30min wait time became a one hour wait time during which I saw ten orders leave as we waited for ours only to be told those had been placed earlier which I truly believe is a lie. I was sorely disappointed by the service on that front. To anyone who wants to go here I suggest you place your order while en route, 30 minutes in advance. I will also suggest that the management makes it clear to clients that there is a significant wait time.
