Truce Lounge & Grill — Restaurant in Nairobi

Truce is a nyama choma joint situated along Kiambu on the left hand side just before the Northern bypass from Nairobi to Kiambu. The joint has mbuzi, kuku and pork choma available on the open to air grills facing the road. They never disappoint particularly on the pork choma and mutura. The meat was dry and not up to standards. The staff inside where unattentive and they waited till the end to tell us that there where zero sides for the meat we ordered. No ugali, no kachumbari, no chips nothing. After cutting the meat he disappeared with the only accompliment which was salt. I was disappointed as the establishment used to be excellent. We found out later the owner was not there and for sure he was conned by the staff out...

Pretty good vibe but we got served improperly cleaned 'mara' and worst of all 'mutura' that had gone bad. They knew it was bad because even the cook was hanging around oddly after he cut it.
