This is definitely the place you want to eat at. You will walk out with a full, happy belly. I eat here every time I visit the Hub.

So far, I have had chicken starters, buffalo wings, cheesy ~ lemon prawns, loaded burger with beef bacon and 300g cheesy steak. The chicken starter was above average, the buffalo wings were flavourful. The burger was THE BEST I HAVE HAD SO FAR in Nairobi. It exploded in my mouth. I loved the combo of beef patty, beef bacon, sunny side egg (100 ksh extra) and guacamole. I looked like a baby after eating it because of all the juices coming out of the steak. The complimentary chips and onion rings went perfectly with it and with my steak. I can’t complain. The cheesy lemon prawns were so tangy and a burst of yum.

The service is amazing. The staff are friendly, the food comes on time.

Over the last 2 or 3 visits in the last 3 months or so, I have noticed deteriorating quality of the food served. Once they served fresh food from the grill any day any time. Nowdays, something got to be stale. The Spinach (in todays meal), the ribs (in the last meal).

Previously, ordering 400gm of pork ribs, you would be served with 2 racks of succulent short ribs, full of tender meat. Now, you get 330gm of bone and 70grams of thin meat to scrap off from the bone! Really?? Seen this in the last two servings. Last time they offered a replacement when I made a complaint, today, I did not have the energy to complain. Just left disappointed.

The Spur at the Hub offers a relaxed ambiance that’s perfect for a casual dining experience. Susan, our waiter, was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. However, the food didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The buffalo wings were overly dry and smaller than expected, and the Caesar salad was lacking in chicken.
