Java House is a popular chain in Kenya, renowned for its inviting ambiance and as a hub where locals and visitors converge. While Java House primarily offers a variety of dishes, including sandwiches, burgers, salads, and international cuisines, it may not specialize in traditional Kenyan cuisine. However, they do incorporate local flavors into some of their offerings.

Recommendations:

Java Rolex Combo: A hearty wrap with eggs, bell peppers, cheese, and mushrooms, rolled in a warm chapati. Served with a side of sausage, parsley-seasoned wedges, fresh fruits, and your choice of a single hot beverage. JAVAHOUSEAFRICA.COM

Maple Onion Burger: A juicy chicken or beef burger layered with melted cheese and sweet maple-infused caramelized onions, served with your choice of accompaniment. JAVAHOUSEAFRICA.COM

Pricing:

While specific prices can vary by location and over time, as of the latest available information, main courses at Java House typically range from KSh 800 to KSh 1,500. For the most accurate and up-to-date pricing, it's advisable to check their official menu or contact the specific Java House branch you plan to visit. JAVAHOUSEAFRICA.COM

The ambience is cozy and relaxed, making it an ideal spot for casual meetings or simply to unwind. The interior design combines modern and rustic elements, providing a warm, homely feeling. Free WiFi is a plus, catering to the needs of digital nomads and casual web surfers alike.

Customer service at Java House is commendable. The staff are friendly, attentive, and quick to serve, ensuring a smooth dining experience. Additionally, the restaurant maintains high standards of cleanliness, contributing to a hygienic dining environment.

I have been a Java client for so long but i was so frustrated and disappointed on 22nd December when i went to pick my son’s rite of passage 2kg apple cinnamon pre-ordered cake. Shock on me, the cake was a kilo or less and i was required to still pay the same amount of money required for the cake. I objected and called for the Manager or supervisor (I think she was Grace) and when she saw the cake acknowledged that its not 2kgs. I ended up paying 1440 and went home with a small cake that could not be enough for all my visitors so our family members opted to let the children eat it. It was such a bad experience especially knowing that it was my son’s ONLY time to celebrate his day. The management needs to check on such lapses lest they loose many clients. My cake order was picked by a lady called Christine. Im so annoyed about this till today. I will never refer anyone to get a cake at Java. So so...

An awesome place to have your hot cup of coffee, but also if you want to have a small business meeting. Quite ideal as it is often quiet and you can get the privacy you need. The internet connection here is fast enough to keep you occupied as you await your order. I just wish the service was more rapid as I had to wait for close to half an hour to get a cold beverage from the fridge, I would understand if it was a cooked meal that would have taken a bit of time. Regardless, everything else seemed seamless, and such a nice experience. Parking is also available with an adjacent gas station and car wash.
