My recent visit to Anchor Restaurant in Diani with a group of five friends was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the warm and professional hospitality made us feel right at home.

We started our evening with a fantastic selection of cocktails, expertly crafted by Salma. Her friendly and knowledgeable approach set the perfect tone for what turned out to be an outstanding dining experience.

For our main courses, we enjoyed a wonderfully fresh Catch of the Day, a perfectly prepared Supreme of Chicken, two servings of Buttered Chicken, and a delightful Halloumi Salad. Each dish was expertly crafted, highlighting the restaurant’s commitment to quality and flavor.

To end the meal, we savored aromatic cappuccinos and a decadent Apple Crumble, a dessert that was both comforting and delicious.

The service was impeccable, with Caroline and Fatma providing attentive and seamless care throughout the evening. Their professionalism and warmth elevated the dining experience, making it truly unforgettable.

Anchor Restaurant’s stunning view of the beach, coupled with its serene and tranquil ambiance, perfectly encapsulates the essence of Diani. Returning after a year, I was thrilled to experience the same consistent excellence that makes this place a standout destination.

Anchor truly delivered an exceptional dining experience that I can't recommend enough! We made a reservation (which I highly advise, as it's a popular spot!), and from start to finish, everything was simply perfect. It was not crowded.

The food was outstanding. The crab was fresh and perfectly prepared, and the butter chicken was incredibly delicious – rich and full of flavor. A definite highlight were the baked oysters; they were absolutely incredible and offered fantastic value for money.

Beyond the exquisite food, the sea view and the entire ambiance were a solid 10/10. Dining with such a breathtaking backdrop truly elevated the meal. The atmosphere was just right – inviting and elegant.

Customer service: Absolutely top-notch! They truly go above and beyond.

Lovely ambience and great service. Food looked good but taste was underwhelming. Menu descriptions did not accurately describe the food. The chilli ginger crab was more like crab curry with a random shell on top. Lobster with thermidor au gratin looked delicious but tasted like something was missing, salad didn’t go well with the rest of the dish. Sauce served with the red snapper (catch of the day) was very tomatoey, didn’t suit the type of fish. Lamb chops were served cold. Fish & chips was the best of all the meals we tried. Desserts were extremely disappointing, Tiramisu in particular had a jelly-like texture, no coffee taste at all.
