I recently ordered a takeaway from this place, opting for one plate of Iraqi kebab, half grilled (faham) chicken, and hummus. The total bill came to 4.500 KD (1.250 for the kebab, 2.500 for the chicken, and 0.750 for the hummus).

Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. The Iraqi kebab lacked any distinct flavor or uniqueness that I expected. I’ve tried Iraqi kebabs elsewhere, and these didn’t even come close—not to mention the portion size was quite small.

The hummus tasted like it had just come out of the fridge—cold and tight, making it unappetizing. The grilled chicken was also far from flavorful, missing that smoky, juicy texture you’d hope for.

The biggest letdown, however, was the khuboos (bread). It was rubbery and tough to tear apart—nearly impossible to enjoy. I honestly felt more strain on my jaws than satisfaction from the meal.

Adding to the disappointment, despite seeing a crowd and assuming it would be good, I ended up waiting 25 minutes for my takeaway.
