Babel — Restaurant in Salmiya

Didnt feel comfortable at all, it is not fun to be there, Very noisy, the smoke inside cause a terrible atmosphere even for smokers, yes there is a section for non smoking however when you join people who smoke you will feel that the smoke is much more even for the smokers.

Yes food is delicious, but music is too loud, you will feel like eating quickly then run away.

Decoration is nice. Reservation policy is the worst ever! Each time I get one answer: sorry we can reserve only after 10.00pm. As it is fully booked!

One day I decided to check the restaurant and I went there and there were many tables empty!! I don't think all of these people canceled their reservation at once!.. Note that was on the same day which they refused to reserve or to call me back if there is a cancelation as they have mentioned : our policy is not calling customers in case there is a cancelation!! Walk in is pirioty in this case,

Second and very strange point regarding the reservation which shocked me!!!!!! My friend called to reserve and as usual they told her it is full and you can only reserve after 10!! She's an Arab. She called second time and spoke exactly like an English native speaker at the same time and on the same day and her reservation was done and confirmed very easily!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unexpected Delight in Kuwait

An unexpected trip to Kuwait turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences I’ve had in a long time. While walking around near my hotel, I came across a truly unique and stunning building overlooking the Persian Gulf. Curious, I decided to explore it further.

As I walked inside, the welcome desk staff were incredibly helpful. Since my phone wasn’t working and I couldn’t scan the QR code to view the menu, one of the staff kindly offered his own phone so I could see the options. They even provided an iPad for convenience. The wait time was short, and everything felt smooth and welcoming.

Soon after, I was greeted by Nitesh, the server, who assisted me in getting seated. His professionalism and warm demeanor made me feel instantly at ease. Despite not being very hungry, his thoughtful recommendations convinced me to try two different meals — and I’m so glad I did. Every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented.

To top it all off, they surprised me with a generous basket of fresh fruit and a complimentary dessert. It was a lovely gesture that made the experience feel even more special.

I never expected to have such a culinary highlight in Kuwait, but I would absolutely travel back just to dine there again. Exceptional service, a beautiful setting, and unforgettable...

First, I must say this place is truly beautiful. Whoever designed and built it did a great job. I like how you can see the water all around the way the glass is clean to give everybody a nice view both inside and outside. The shape of this building is also unique and beautiful. I like also that they have the non-smoking area in the smoking area for the inside and of course you have the outside to do whatever you prefer. Just look up towards the ceiling and get a glimpse of the lights that look somewhat like stars and in certain places they change colors. I think it was a nice touch.

When it comes to the food it's quite tasty and didn't take. As long as I would have expected to come out, I definitely say in terms of Lebanese restaurants I've been to is definitely top five

The service is really good from the hostess to the waiters. I don't have anything really bad to say.

Also, when we speak about pricing it's not as bad as I thought. I thought it would be a lot higher but I think they have something on the menu for everyone. Or if you think the prices are still high, you can still order for everyone. You share the meals in the middle of the table.
