I recently had the displeasure of dining at the restaurant Freej Swaele, waiters from India, and I can honestly say it was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. Where do I even begin with the multitude of issues I encountered?
First and foremost, the customer service was absolutely abysmal. The staff at this restaurant clearly have no idea how to interact with customers. They lacked basic manners and were incredibly rude. It seemed as if they were doing us a favor by allowing us to dine there. I've never felt more unwelcome in a restaurant before.
To make matters worse, the waiters and waitresses had no knowledge of the menu. I asked simple questions about certain dishes, and they couldn't give a straight answer. It was like they were just making things up as they went along. If the staff doesn't even know their own menu, how can they expect to provide a decent dining experience?
The level of incompetence displayed by the staff was mind-boggling. Numerous times, they got our orders wrong, resulting in a long wait time for the correct meal to be served. The whole dining experience felt chaotic and disorganized. It's clear that this restaurant lacks any form of proper staff training.
Additionally, the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was disappointing. The interior was dingy and poorly maintained. It gave off a vibe of neglect and lack of care. The tables were dirty, and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant was questionable.
Furthermore, the food itself was a major letdown. The dishes lacked flavor and were incredibly bland. It felt as if they were using subpar ingredients or simply didn't know how to season their food. It was clear that no effort was put into ensuring the quality of the meals served.
In conclusion, I would strongly discourage anyone from dining at Freej Swaele, The Garson from India. With its abysmal customer service, lack of knowledge about the menu, chaotic atmosphere, and disappointing food, this restaurant fails on every level. Save your money and go elsewhere for an enjoyable...
Read moreA place real cozy with ambience of a traditional old Kuwaiti homes or maybe village kinda look of yester years. Situated on Salem Al Mubarak street just a little ahead of Marina Mall is the place; I and family or sometimes friends hop in to chill, enjoy the food and delicacies. Any visitors or foreigners must be encouraged to see Freej Swaeleh and what it has to offer- their dishes - mainly majboos rice, grilled platter- unique way of their serving soups especially the lentil soup (simple but excellent to taste!!)😇💕. In recent years, they have gained their market position (methinks😍) with their hospitality and authentic taste of the food. If we talk of food and cuisines Kuwait tops in all the kinds of it. Talking about their qahwa served in a traditional style small cup and sweet 'Ghimath' is fantastic. Not to forget their fantastic starters (pickles something sweet and tangy) is simply delicious👌 The best of Freej is it's open 24/7. So what more can you ask for? Hungry at 1am bingo ! Freej is ready to serve.. Beauty of the place is its distinct space allocation. Ground floor Seatings are for everyone and serves Breakfast! Next time my car will take me to taste their breakfast. Waiting for winter to enjoy the season and Freej's delicacies. Me will always choose to visit this place. They also have another one in Kuwait City. So folks stay on the steering wheel towards FS and enjoy the taste, hospitality and tradition (even if it is conveyed through expats) and leave with happiness of the cuisine you...
Read moreFreej Swaeleh is a restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere that serves delicious food. The Kapsa Swalieh, Bun Soup, and Chicken Majbouse are all very tasty dishes that are worth trying. The restaurant is also a great place to visit with family and friends.
However, one major downside to this restaurant is that they do not provide hot water for customers. When I asked for hot water, surprisingly the waiter informed that it was not available. Then I noticed menu indicates that the cost of bottled drinking water is significantly higher (5 times) than normal prices (500 fils for a 100 fils water), making it difficult for customers to access affordable drinking water. This could lead customers to feel forced to buy expensive water and put them in a situation where they may have to pay more for their overall meal. If they wants to make more profits, they can increase the their food rate instead of this water business.
Furthermore, according to Kuwait law, all restaurants are required to provide free normal water and washrooms to customers. While it's understandable for restaurants to charge for bottled water, it's important to provide customers with the option to access normal, pure hot and cold water without any extra cost.
In conclusion, Freej Swaeleh is a great restaurant that serves delicious food and provides a welcoming atmosphere for customers. However, the lack of hot water and the high cost of bottled water could be a significant issue for...
