Udupi International Restaurant — Restaurant in Salmiya

The restaurant is more of a cheap side-street restaurant, nothing fancy. It's been serving the same south Indian dishes since they opened.

When you go in, keep the following on your mind:

1 - The food is typical South Indian and very famous among the Keralite and other south Indian community. 2 - If you are going there, do nor expect Hygiene, it's missing. 3 - Wear anything that you will put for washing as soon as possible; the smell of the restaurant and the oil, will blow your cover. Everyone will know where you've been. 4 - Prices, just like any street-food/common joint, it is "almost" reasonably priced. 5 - Parking, around the restaurant is available.

RECOMMENDATION

If you like South Indian food, try to use their "Take-Away" service, at least you'll save yourself from the...

Food is fine..but I felt very bad customer service..When I ask them to parcel the balance food they ignored and told they will not parcel and when I insisted they did pack the food but every thing packed in small box..like chapathy and curry mixed and packed..These foolish and irreverent people of Uduppi only knows how to make money and they dont even know about customer and service and satusfication..actually i wanna give them negative rating but the rating starts with 1 star thats y i gave them 1 star..very very bad customer service...see the below pic ..they have mixed chapathi(roti) with curry and curd..such a bad customer service..Iam ashamed to say that these people are from India..actually they are degrading Indian...

I'm as carnivorous as it gets, but once a week I take time to relish some vegetarian goodness from down south. I have the dosa with heaping amounts of sambar and haven't gotten bored of it even after a year of having the same thing every week. The decor is unassuming and the staff are functional, especially Raghu who telepathically knows what I want. The perfect finish to this southern delight is their 'filter coffee', a no-frills milk coffee that should not be missed. My only beef (hehe) is that they aren't open till after midnight even...
