Al Marsa — Restaurant in Sharq

I used to cone more often..today , it was the first experience one could gave in any restaurant.. I ordered a fish ( large ) without any spices and I have informed the manager ( he claimed that he is ) and I waited for 40 minutes to get a fish full with spices!!!! He then tried to play smart and say that he thought that I meant not spicy! I informed him that I said it clearly with no spices not spicy...I didn't like that he was trying to play ignorant on me especially that I know what I said and I made sure to convey this to him when I ordered the fish but apparently they didn't care.. Sorry guys, but I am not coming back after this .. hope the management pays...

Was fortunate enough to be treated to dinner here by the Sheikh we were working with. What an incredible experience! Starting with the coffee and dates, to the elaborate kinds of hummus and salads, the hot breads and tea. Then the main courses of 3 different kind of fish and rice, fried shrimp, jumbo prawns, stuffed crabs, fried fish... It went on for hours. I recently visited Al-Marsa Restaurant. While the grilled items, especially the meats, were well-prepared and flavorful, the overall experience was disappointing. The fish stew was served cold, and the grilled shrimp was not hot either. The tea was particularly unpleasant in taste.
