This is the second navat we visited in bishkek, and our experience here was exactly opposite to the previous navat we visited. While the food was still great on both locations, the service here was just too bad. We had ordered plov along with shakarap, lazuro, some tea and beshbarmak. Tea and lazuro came in 15 minutes. We started eating and within 5 minutes or so, shakarap was given, Then that's it, no food for another 1 hour and 10 minutes (on total, 1 hour and 30 minutes since we ordered). This is after me requesting for update, everytime i see the waitresses after it crossed 45 minutes. Then come plov, by that time, we were so exhausted, sitting with our 4 month old daughter. When we asked for beshbarmark, we were told, that would take another 20 minutes. This literally put us off and we had to cancel it. So the lack of coordination among waiters/kitchen staff and slow service, makes the otherwise good restaurant, a place to avoid, unless you are ready to wait for two...

This made me think that the dish was not freshly prepared but simply reheated. I don’t think anyone deserves to be taken for a fool. The waiter was very kind, and I know it wasn’t his fault. But the administrator could have solved this situation. This was...

The food absolutely lives up to the ambiance. We thoroughly enjoyed the beshmarmak, a classic dish that was executed flawlessly—rich, flavorful, and deeply satisfying.
For a truly unique experience, do not miss the atkan chai. The combination of tea, milk, sour cream, butter, and salt is intriguing and may seem unusual at first, but it proved to be a remarkably wholesome and comforting start to the day. It’s a must-try for any visitor looking to dive into the...
