Berlin Pub — Restaurant in Bishkek City

I stumbled upon this pub while walking down the street and was intrigued enough to stop in. After ordering, I looked at the reviews and got very nervous 😂 I ordered the quesadilla and it was actually DELICIOUS! I had the Berliner Dunkel and it was just ok; not as dark as I was expecting and I'm dubious of its actual strength. The service was attentive, friendly, and even in English. The menu is only in Russian, which is a little surprising given the nature of this pub. I liked being able to sit outside. It was annoying, though, that I couldn't order the 1L option of the beer I was drinking at a better value because apparently that's only for take away.

One thing that was actually rather concerning was that my first beer was delivered to an empty table outside while I was in the restroom and this was mind-blowing to me for what could have happened to it while unattended, especially as a woman dining alone.

I liked this place a lot and the waitress was gracious enough to give me access to WiFi during my meal. I’d just arrived in the country and this was my first meal. Очень предприимчивые хозяева наливают баночное пиво, по цене разливного. На вопрос, есть ли разливное пиво, весело отвечают, что да и услужливо открывают нужную страничку в меню. Мы сидели у барной стойки и отчётливо слышали, как открыли две баночки и тут же выехал паровозик с пивом. Честно, мы офигели. Заказали второй раз и я уже смотрела, что там происходит. Бармен открыл холодильник, щёлкнул две банки, выехало два пива. На мой вопрос, официантка ответила, что пиво разливное, но она пойдёт уточнить. Она ведь не видит, что там происходит, за барной стойкой. Разбираться пришёл менеджер, и после того, как я сказала, что я видела процесс, тихонько объяснил, что проблемы с таможней и пиво из баночки ну ни чем не хуже, а даже лучше местного разливного. Т.е. он то знает какое пиво нам лучше пить. Да, счёт принесли как за разливное, обслуживание в счёт включили. Просто 5 баллов, это не просто наглость, это двойная наглость. Со мной был ирландец - он в осадок выпал от всего этого. У них бы эту контору закрыли бы на...
