There were 20 times more flies in the cafe than there were people working, and about 2 times more people working than there were customers. Which was just my partner and I. The service was just super bad. Taking too long to take our orders etc, walking away before we’d finished (just a drink and lunch - doesn’t take long for us to say!) Giggling at us, I don’t know why. I’m fairly certain my partner didn’t get the coffee he ordered and they forgot to add the cream whip, even though there were 4 of them behind the bar making it haha We asked for the bill and it took about 5 minutes to get it because they were taking selfies in front of the cash machine. It was mad. We were laughing because they just diiiidn’t care at all. Food was super average and expensive for what it was. The above is just a warning only, I don’t mean to be a...

A good base for food and work while visiting Pakse. Yes, there are flies. No, the staff are not proactive or even friendly, but that also means that you can sit and work there for hours, as I did frequently this week, without feeling like you're overstaying your welcome. When I pointed the flies out to the manager, he set a swarm of staff onto the task of eradicating them with electric racquets. Order food and it arrives promptly, assuming it is actually available - a few of the key things I wanted were continually out of stock. (Burger - which gets a full page of promotion in the menu: "Sorry, sold out" for 3 days now.) Bottom line: Sinouk does not live up to its promise, but it's more...

Loved this place. It really does sell the best coffee in Pakse. The only down fall is it is also the most expensive place in Pakse. The coffee prices are similar to coffee shops in England so not great for budget travellers £2.50 - £3). We went once but I wish we went again. We just didn't have the budget for it. The coffee shop is linked to the Sinouk Accomodation and coffee tour. That would have been an amazing experience to visit but we ran out of time. You can ask at the cashier desk for this information. They also sell bags of...

Our mug looked like it wasn’t cleaned properly- we went here cause we wanted to have breakfast before we fly out, we choose this spot cause the opening time is 7am but at 7 they were actually opening the shop, meaning they had to put all the table out and get things ready, so when we were allowed to come in around 7:15 everything was a little slow and the food wasn’t so good when you compare it to the price - stuff was friendly but didn’t speak English
