Review for The Green Pepper, Vientiane, Laos
I had a wonderful dining experience at The Green Pepper in Vientiane. The food was absolutely delicious, with the peanut salad being a standout—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The grilled pork neck was also exceptional, cooked to perfection and bursting with savory, smoky flavors.
Beyond the food, the atmosphere was equally impressive. The restaurant has a classy and refined ambiance, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed yet elegant meal. The staff was attentive and friendly, which added to the overall experience.
I highly recommend The Green Pepper for anyone looking to enjoy high-quality food in a sophisticated setting. A must-visit spot...

The Green Pepper is the restaurant of the D Varee Hotel Group belonging to the Le Thatluang D'or. Here, hotel guests will find their morning breakfast buffet.
The buffet is based on the Lao and Thai cuisine and offers only a little Western food such as toast, bacon, eggs and croissants.
During our stay we had a daily increase in quality, service and availability of buffet components - but you should not forget it is still Laos and therefore not all-time everything available.
The interior of the Green Pepper is beautiful, functional and oriented especially with its small-scale windows in the colonial era.
You feel comfortable and the service is friendly and service oriented.
The dinner was interesting but taste and optic of the offered food not "knock our socks off" - here is much more place up ...

Read moreConsistently Good delivery on meals. I booked myself in the hotel opposite. I dined here for 3 days consecutive and not bored yet. Good spread across western, european & local Laotian food. To me, the chef knows how to make a good sauce, fry chicken drummets and make a soup. I tried their chicken steak, pork noodle soup, spring rolls, chicken drummets, french fries & etc. Expect 20,000 kip for a beer on the average. Expect a main meal for 50,000 kip. Clean toilets with soap and bidet available. European deco
I hope they'd do well as...
