Wow. So I’m to be honest writing this review as I’m still sitting here. The view point is stunning but a major attitude shift is needed. While waiting more than 15 minutes now for a black coffee, which by the way I’ve already paid for, I observe two other staff yawning and fixing their nails. There’s basically no greeting when you arrive and you don’t feel welcome. This seems irrespective of if your own nationality- a group of Chinese tourists were greeted in the form of arms folded, blank expression. I really hope this isn’t the current pattern of service in Vang Vieng because they will continue to lose tourists if they continue like this. It’s all just a bit flat and depressing. The coffee has eventually arrived with no acknowledgment of fact they forgot it and I was waiting over 20 minutes. The coffee is ok. Can’t say worth the wait but it’s ok. A clean saucer for the cup would have been considerate (see visible stains on cup).

Went back for a second visit and service was incomparable to the first visit. Walked through and no one greeted us. Found table and was understanding that staff a bit busy so gave benefit of a doubt and waited for any available staff to come take order at our table. Waited 5 minutes and no one came to take our orders, no menus were provided to at least let us browse. Went to the order counter to place an order and could be someone was manning the til they were totally ignoring me. Another 5 minutes passed and notice patrons who had just arrived were greeted by the staff and shown to their table and took their orders while I was standing there waiting to place an order for the last ten minutes. View is great from this restaurant/cafe but treatment of staff sort of spoiled it for us. There’s other cafes down the road that staffs were happy to cater us with the same view of the mountainous backdrop.

Forget "must-go," Pullmind Cafe in Vang Vieng is a MUST-DO! Seriously, this place isn't just a restaurant, it's an experience for your eyeballs and tastebuds. The view? EPIC. Mountains, greenery, stream of water.. You'll be snapping pics like crazy. But the real star is the FOOD! We're talking next-level deliciousness with unique dishes you won't find anywhere else. Their shrimp paste fried rice? Mind. Blown. I never thought I'd say this about fried rice, but trust me, it's a game-changer. Honestly, don't just take my word for it. Head to Pullmind Cafe and prepare to be wowed. Just remember to save some shrimp paste fried rice for me!

Lets start off with saying that this review score concerns customer service, not the average quality of the coffees. We had coffees here on two occasions. The first time, everything was perfect. The second time, my coffee came out lukewarm/cold while my partners was normal. Easy fix, I thought, and asked them to 'make it hot' and explained that the coffee was cold. It came back warmer but undrinkable. I think they've put another double shot into my coffee to heat it up. The biggest problem is that they don't just accept 'okay, the customer doesn't like her coffee, let's make a new one', they started arguing on both occasions about it with every staff...
