Avotu Ezītis miglā — Restaurant in Riga

I’m giving a star only so that I could review. This place deserves no star at all!!! I went there three times within the past four weeks. They either take the wrong order and/or they leave out some of the orders! I’m starting to wonder if this is racism! And trust me, the first time it happened, my friends and I just laughed it off and reordered again and waited for another hour,, but today it happened again, and this is the third time! This sure doesn’t seem like a random mistake to me anymore! Besides, I was taking my friend’s family there for lunch, who have come to visit Latvia for a week all the way from korea in such a huge heat wave and the waiters pissed me off but i had to hold it in cuz I didn’t want my friends to have a bad memory about their trip or latvia,! and you know what,, they also promised to give a free drink because of their mistake bcuz we had to reorder,, and brushed it off and pretended they never mentioned it when i actually went up to the counter to reorder. And the food came out like after 90 minutes,, gosh!!! You know what’s worse!!! The waiter who delivered the food just outright ignored me,, when I was complaining about bad service and how this has not been the first time it happened!! He literally just pretended like i’m in no existence while i was talking to his face!!! ohh my goodness god!!!! racism there people!! it hurts!!! And this place has no air conditioning,, not a good place to sit and chill at all!! bad service!!! All I could remember about this place now is waiting about 45 min for the food and not coming out and having to reorder and wait for another hour on a empty stomach in a place with no air conditioning which basically felt like a sauna in this huge heat wave!!!! I was just sitting there in sweat boiling with anger and disappointment!! I better not go next time!!! I gave you my three chances to fix your mistake but look how you disappointed me!!! Never setting my foot there...

Chicken burger inedible, the meat was overcooked and dry. Half the menu items were not available, so I had to take what was available, and they couldn't even get that right. Lady at the counter was nice and definitely felt uncomfortable when everything I asked was out of stock and I can feel her. The employees should never put in a position like that where they are unable to provide the service required.

The faucet in the bathroom was broken and spraying all over the wall, someone tried to fix it with duct tape which is just beyond any level of stupidity. The smoking area in the terrace smells like sewage, as if smokers can't smell anything and that's just not true.This place used to be great, not recommended now until someone invests some time and resources in fixing...

Me and my gf both took burgers. Both of the burgers (although one was chicken the other beef) were burnt amd served in a temperature that we had to wait about 7-10 minutes so we could eat them. They were not that big and that was not a problem cos they weren't pricy but i don't understand how it could be that hard to eat it. Everything is falling out just cos they put too much sauce and the knifes didn't work. They just bent the burger. Usually i don't use knife for a burger but cos everything was falling out i tought that it's the only option. I wouldn't recommend this place for eating but they do have good drinks here and a nice atmosphere. Plus the location is good cos not always you'll wanna go to old town to get drinks in...
