Knights Court — Hotel in Riga

Overall: EXCELLENT guesthouse. We arrived rather late and it was raining, but the counter was closed. We did not realise the instructions in the email confirmation saying to collect our keys on our own from a safe in the lobby, so we were rather lost, and knocked on the door of another building instead! :) Fortunately we ran into someone who helped us get the keys and we settled into our room very quickly. The room for 2 is very spacious and fully equipped with everything we needed, thank goodness for the hair dryer too. We were soaked from the rain and the hair dryer was very helpful to have in the room. :) The drainage occasionally smelt a little bad, but it was mostly contained in the bathroom and did not spread out to the room. That was acceptable for us. We also had breakfast included in the package, and they offered a simple but wonderful spread of bread, eggs, cheese, ham, milk, coffee, etc. which you could just help yourself to. The only downside is that the hotel is located a number of streets away from the city centre, which meant that we had to either take a bus or walk for quite a few minutes to get out there. Regardless of the negatives, we absolutely loved staying here and wished we could spend more days in Riga!

P.S. Oh and there was a resident black cat which crept into our room to greet us when we left our door open. Lol. A cute...

Stayed here in February for 3 nights in one of the 'deluxe apartments' which was a very nice set of rooms - with a large living room, bedroom and bathroom with all the facilities we were expecting. Also, being there in February we were concerned we may be a little cold, but the heating in the building was really good - almost too hot on occasions!||The value was excellent - under £70 for the three nights for 2 people, which is hard to beat!||The staff were helpful and friendly, happy to book taxis for us back to the airport and there was no problem checking in a few hours before the 3pm time specified on the booking.||The building is a bit of a walk from the centre of Riga, but only a 15 minute stroll into Riga, which was nice and gives you more of a feel for the city as you see something beyond just the Old Town.||The only downside was that the beds were hard and not especially comfortable - but all things considered a good...

Thank you for a plesant stay ! I enjoyed this place :) The landlord was friendly, and helpfull staff . Clean room, clean bathroom. I had standard doubble room. Two tables, one dobble closet, two nightstands with shelf. Plug on each side of the bed. Hairdryer, and soap. Only the chairs in the room could need update. The shower was perfekt. The light in the hallway has automatic sensor. Flowers in the courtyard, and nice place to sit and relax. Madrass was OK. Fridge with freezer, was clean, in the hallway, and for making warm wather for tea or coffee. I will stay at this place again. The cat was no problem. Thank you ! Love...
