Crazy Dog — Restaurant in Riga

The Crazy Dog is a bit hidden away in Aleksandra Čaka iela 101, just outside the main Riga city and opposite Ziedondarzs park.

But it has some surprises. The hot dogs, burgers and beef, chicken and vegetarian main meals are fresh and tasty with the bonus of Mexican style dishes too. There is a good selection of meals and snacks.

The snack bar/restaurant is simple and clean but with a cosy and sort of friendly and familiar atmosphere.

The food is served hot and cooked just right.

To be honest, we were not expecting anything great upon arriving there, but we were positively surprised.

The lady working there was very nice and immediately helped us when we were struggling on the stairs with the baby stroller.

The food was good and affordable. They provide black gloves for eating your hotdog/burger in a clean way, which is great.

Suggestion: have a menu with pictures.

Burger was really good ++ +pickled cucumbers, french fries and ketchup- really mild!

-Mexican plate had too much frech fries, too less nachos and no sour cream or orther related mexican sause. Meat and beans in mexican plate was good +prices are like before Covid and inflation, burger 6 euro, plate 7.50
