The eatery is quite cheap I guess and that reflects in the front of the house, where you can see dust everywhere, windows even after cleaning are spotty at best, EVEN MOLD everywhere on the walls. Feels like health inspection nightmare.
Everything seems to be thrown about and quickly & cheaply made as posters and other cosmetical items have a "print this google image out and let's frame it". Most funny thing is : on the doors there's a sushi sticker! (to explain : this is a chinese eatery + it doesn't even serve sushi).
The more depressing part comes from the fact that the owners don't seem to know much of any language beside chinese, while on top seemingly not trusting their own staff. How do I know this? When you choose your food, if it's not one of the owners or their family the person who handles plating the food does not take the money, there always is one of the family that has to handle money, even thou the staff could easily do that.
At this sort of level I'd also not be surprised that the back of the house would be quite in a bad shape too, yet just recently rising prices.
Listen : you want to rise prices.. how about you improve your "restaurant" first!? Feels disgusting once you look around. As for the food, overcooked and with little consistency in most cases, on most others it's cold...especially when it comes to soups.
Only recommended if you are on a tight budget and with the recent price increase ... would strongly consider just cooking on your own...
Read moreI've had the pleasure of frequenting this Chinese bistro since my childhood, and the consistency of great food has been a constant delight.
The menu offers a diverse range of meats, including duck, various chicken and pork dishes, as well as a choice between two different types of noodles and rice. It's worth noting that being a bistro, the fare tends to lean towards the indulgent side, but the incredible flavors make it entirely worthwhile.
While there are days when the selection might be slightly smaller, the authenticity of the food remains unwavering. Prepared by a Chinese family, the dishes carry that distinct homemade touch that speaks volumes about their dedication to quality.
A particular recommendation I'd make is to try their caramelized baked apples, a treat that's both exceptional and unique. These sweet delights are a true testament to the creativity and care that go into their culinary offerings.
What makes this bistro even more appealing is the reasonable pricing. For just 5 euros, you're treated to a hearty, full plate of scrumptious food. It's an excellent value, especially when compared to other dining options.
I always visit this place when I’m in town center. All the love to the family that owns this bistro, their amazing cooking has left an indelible mark on my...
