Where Fantasy Meets Food and Even the Squirrels Are Amused!
Ladies and gentlemen, buckle up for a culinary roller coaster at Lido Krasta, the only place where you can dine in a fairytale without a fairy godmother!
Entering Lido Krasta is like accidentally crashing a Disney movie - there's magic in the air, and I'm not just talking about the smell of their European buffet. Speaking of which, the buffet is so extensive, I thought I needed a map and a compass to navigate it. I asked for a small plate and they gave me a shield from "Game of Thrones."
The outdoor area is so pet-friendly, I saw a cat hosting a TED Talk about the art of napping. Dogs are dining critics here, and my furry friend rated his bowl a Michelin star. Meanwhile, the kids' amusement park? It's like the Bermuda Triangle – kids go in and only reappear for ice cream.
Prices range from 3 to 20 euros, cheaper than my last regrettable online impulse buy. They’re practically giving away culinary happiness here. And the diversity! I saw more types of cuisine than in my last five food dreams combined. Vegetarian? Vegan? Gluten-free? This place caters to diets I haven't even heard of yet.
Then there’s the live music – so lively, even the statues were tapping their feet. I half expected Mozart to pop out and take a bow. And if you're into winter festivities, this place turns into Narnia, but with better food and less talking lions.
Parents, worry not! There's a "Nutrition school," where kids learn that vegetables are not mortal enemies. And if you're looking for a quiet romantic spot, good luck. The only private dining happens when a kid builds a fort under the table.
In conclusion, Lido Krasta isn't just a restaurant; it's a theme park for your taste buds, a wonderland for your inner child, and probably the only place where you can see a dog politely refusing a second helping of caviar. So, grab your forks, your kids, and your pets, and dive into the delightful chaos...
Read moreOver all looks like a family place to relax, nevertheless I got a very bad experience at the attraction park with one wild staff but was sort out by manager after who show a kind attitude. The attraction park has fair space with games for kids to play in different áreas with options for an hour ticket €17 or day ticket € 25. Games are left unattended long time or charging, explained by staff as not working so it is confusing when they are actually working after 1 hour, therefore is best to get a daily ticket or per gamé ticket to avoid a bad attitude from staff or any other problem due to a bad answer such as buy another ticket, you where told they do not work when cashier sell you the ticket, you do not get any priviledges etc. After that theres no way feeling like going back or comfortable even after the kids or family insist to go there. I do try not to frequent places where there is bad service and for me this is one.
In any case is best to talk directly with mánager and do not ask staff as they talk to each other and a small enquiry results in a major problem. They do allow children coughing in all the park even though can make other kids sick. There are some games inside restaurant área . It is less crowded during week.
Theres is a mini zoo with bunnies, llamas, on one side. In another área smelling bad and shows dirty, birds. Outside theres a mechanic excavator working with coins for kids. Souvenir shop available.
Open from 12 to 21,summer up to 22 hours and have songs between all day with water show. Self service restaurant. Bar under restaurant and separate dinning areas, two around water fountains, another two outside restaurant and inside restaurant....
Read morePlace was bussy but not overcrowded. Food is absolutely delicious we tried many things. And everything absolutely everything was very tasty. But stuff and service is bad. At the till I seen two girls talking to each other and laughing. But as soon she looked at as she made that grumpy face as every other staff members. I told her that I seen her smiling second ago and she looked beautiful. My wife add. Even when you force yourself to smile. You trick your brain, and you start feeling happier and better. She shaked her head like no made that phi sound rolled her eyes, and made even grumpier face. Said the total price (which was bargain) and asked cash or card like German officer during ww2. That was best relation experience in that place every body else was even worse, rude and angry. And then at very end miracle happened. Little young girl who been responsible for tidiness, picking dishes and flying around huge place like butterfly but working hard as horse. Moving 5 times faster than every other staff member. SMILING from ear to ear asking everyone how they are thanking for visiting. Welcoming again. In Latvian, English and Russian. I took an 50 note from my wallet and gave her while shaking her hand said don't change your appearance and keep smiling. So if you go there and you see that cheerfull girl. You will know that is she. Furnish her...
