We went there for ordering catering services and we had the most horrible experience ever! The customer service lady and the man are the worst! At first we started talking to the man standing there and when we were talking he was talking to another customers, not listening to us. We went talking to the lady next to him, Her name is siham something like this and she’s nothing like a customer service. We were asking about some dishes and their availabilities and prices, and obviously we were there to order and pay on the spot but she was very rude telling us that prices might change from today until sunday. We asked her about 2 or 3 dishes, but at the end she told us that she cannot give us more info and prices. We are ordering something that we cannot know how much it will cost us?! It’s unbelievable. We noticed her also taking an order over the phone and she was doing some mocking facial expressions as the woman talking to her was asking many questions, why are u even responding to the phone if u dont like talking to people? Horrible experience, we went there with high expectations but definitely wont come back. We left and ordered from another caterer who knows how to treat...
Read moreSoooo many waiters it felt heavy. The place used to get super crowded but yesterday it was almost empty at dinner.
The staff was friendly but imposing. You really couldn’t chill like they had a mission to feed you and let you go.
The food was barely average. We ordered a bunch of appetizers: mhamara, makanek, and ribs (castaletta) were okay; salad was a simple fattoush so nothing could go wrong; frogs and batara harra actually good. My friend also liked the t7al and sanesil. He got an arguileh and the fa7m guy would visit him ever 3 minutes to ask if it was good. I mean come on right?
Honestly I don’t think I’ll go back. Food overall is average, and prices are more on the pricey side. I don’t mind paying more, it’s what I expected but we didn’t get better quality we just got...
Read moreTried Al Halabi today and it was perfect from start to finish. The waiters and team are very professional, the food is great and really tasty. We had fattouch, hummos, chanklish, mouajjanet, ras asfour, ma2ane2, frakeh… all of them were delicious with good portions. Service is amazing, waiters are polite and professional, and the setting inside is nice with both smoking and non-smoking areas.
It’s a great spot for a family Sunday lunch, but better to go after 3pm if you want to avoid the lunch rush. Prices are around $30 per person without alcohol and machewe. Definitely recommended if you haven’t...
