I’ve never in my life experienced something like this.

We booked a week in advance. When we showed up they sit is at the bar and say they’re over booked and so these are the only available seats. We were a bit annoyed and asked why we hadn’t been informed but anyway decided we’re already here no need to ruin our evenings. 20 minutes into us being there, the bartender comes up to us and asks if we’re going to order any alcoholic drinks and we said no we’re okay with the mocktails for now. To which she said if we’re not going to order, there are limited seats and they’re overbooked so.. I told her are you throwing us out? And she said no no but maybe we can discuss a minimum charge. At which point I was just disgusted at being approached/ negotiated about money 20 minutes into my entering the place so I asked respectfully for the check, paid and left.

So unprofessional, so rude.. we were literally shocked. I don’t understand how they’re in business. Please don’t risk getting your evening...

Staff Training: I recommend providing additional training for the staff, especially in customer service and attentiveness. Well-trained staff can make a significant difference in guest satisfaction and repeat business. Change of DJ / Music Selection: A fresh approach to the DJ or music playlist could greatly improve the ambiance. The current music selection may not be engaging enough for the crowd, and a more dynamic or diverse playlist might better suit the atmosphere and audience preferences. Service Quality: Improving service speed and consistency would also go a long way. Prompt and friendly service ensures guests feel valued and more likely to return or recommend the place to others.

We had an excellent experience at Pup. From the very beginning, Nadine El Tom assisted us with our reservation and provided all the necessary information in a professional and welcoming manner. Upon arrival, she greeted us with a warm smile, was very well-presented, and ensured throughout the evening that nothing was missing.

The staff were neatly dressed, attentive, and the service was fast and efficient. The alcohol service was well-managed and never disruptive.

The atmosphere was vibrant with great music, and the security team was attentive to every detail, which made the whole evening even more enjoyable and comfortable.
