Had to return the fattouch Salad cause it was too sour and lemony maybe they added to much, I asked him to try it, waiter came back with new salad without any seasoning gave me the molases and oil and told me to add as much as I want , he said it nicely but it's a clear indication that maybe I have something wrong with my taste buds, mind you I have that dish from childbirth, that's where I felt things with the chef are not gonna be exactly top notch. And the food started coming... hence my honest review
I recently visited Amar seaside restaurant in Antelias and unfortunately, I was left disappointed. Let's start with the main issue - the price. I simply cannot justify paying almost $100 for a meal for two people, especially when the quality and taste did not match the high price tag. We ordered a shrimp fatteh, an octopus provencial, along with regular appetizers and a small plate of minced beef with cherry. However, despite the variety on the menu, everything turned out to be quite mediocre.
On a positive note, I must admit that the service was satisfactory. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. Additionally, the restaurant offers beautiful views from its terrace, especially if you choose to dine by the beach. This added to the overall ambiance of the place.
One thing worth mentioning is that Amar seaside restaurant also serves shisha. If you're a shisha enthusiast, this may be a good option for you.
In conclusion, while Amar seaside restaurant has its merits such as decent service and pleasant views, the high price and mediocre quality of the food left me feeling dissatisfied. For the price we paid, I expected a culinary experience that would exceed expectations. Unfortunately, that was not the case. If you're looking for a luxurious dining experience, be prepared to spend a significant amount here. They were nice to offer us dessert and...

Read moreThe Amar business is quite well known for its elevated Lebanese cuisine, but the seafood options at Amar Seaside are impressive. A straightforward menu that doesn't disappoint.
Everything about our experience at Amar was excellent. From the generous portions to the exceptionally trained and courteous staff.
We visited on a Sunday for an early sunset dinner. Despite the place being packed, Hussein kindly seated us at a temporary table until a sea-view spot opened up, and that only took a few minutes. The ambience is a solid 10/10: chic, lively, and perfectly tuned for a relaxing evening by the coast.
We were welcomed with complimentary snacks as we settled in, and our order was taken promptly. The service was impressively quick as within 10 minutes we were enjoying beautifully fried fish, paired with their fantastic smooth homemade Arak, which complemented the meal perfectly (unfortunately they don't sell it for take-out). For four people, we paid little short of $40 per person, a great value for the quality and quantity we received.
To top it off, we were treated to complimentary sweets and fruits just as the sun dipped below the horizon, a small gesture that left a big impression.
This is a restaurant run by perfectionists. The entire team is polished, polite, and always smiling. They handled all our special requests with grace and made us feel genuinely valued.
Amar isn’t just a meal, it’s an experience. Highly...
