I had the pleasure of dining at Mc N Cheese Beirut recently, and it was an absolute treat for both my taste buds and my heart! From the moment I stepped inside, the warmth of the place, coupled with the attentive and friendly staff, made me feel right at home.
The staff at Mc N Cheese Beirut deserves a special mention, especially Nada, the owner's wife, who welcomed us with a genuine smile and took the time to show us around. She exuded a sense of pride as she revealed that this charming eatery was a family business since 2016, and that personal touch was evident throughout the entire experience.
Though Chef Carlos, the owner, was absent during our visit, his passion for food and culinary expertise shone brightly in every dish we tasted. The menu was a delightful blend of classic and creative twists on the beloved comfort food - macaroni and cheese. From traditional cheesy goodness to mouthwatering gourmet options, the choices were abundant.
The cozy ambiance of Mc N Cheese Beirut added to the overall appeal. It was a perfect balance between modern and rustic, with quirky decor elements that added to the fun and laid-back atmosphere. Whether you're looking for a casual hangout spot with friends or a comfortable place to enjoy a hearty meal, this restaurant delivers on both fronts.
Now, let's talk about the food - oh, the food! Each dish we ordered surpassed our expectations. The macaroni and cheese variations were bursting with flavor, and the portion sizes were more than generous. I appreciated how they accommodated various dietary preferences with options for vegetarians and meat lovers alike.
One of the standout dishes was the "Truffle Mac," which elevated the classic dish to a whole new level with its rich, creamy truffle-infused cheese sauce. It was an absolute indulgence! The "Mexican Fiesta" macaroni and cheese was another winner, with its spicy kick and colorful toppings adding an exciting twist.
Moreover, the service was prompt and attentive. The staff was happy to offer recommendations and make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our dining experience to the fullest.
My only small suggestion for improvement would be to offer a few more side options to complement the main dishes like some crackers or some bread /but this minor detail certainly didn't overshadow the delightful experience we had.
In conclusion, Mc N Cheese Beirut is a hidden gem that delivers an unforgettable dining experience. From the heartwarming family connection to the deliciously cheesy creations, this restaurant has left a lasting impression on me. If you're a macaroni and cheese enthusiast like me or just someone looking for a cozy and welcoming spot to enjoy a delicious meal, Mc N Cheese Beirut is the...

Read moreWe ordered a delivery from here. Unfortunately there was a bit of a mess up with our order which resulted in a few phone calls to the restaurant and another 40 minute wait for the correct food to arrive. The customer follow up was good though - they sent a complementary cheesecake for the inconvenience and they also called the next day to ask if everything was ok and to apologize again. The food itself was good and still hot despite having travelled quite a distance from the restaurant in Mar Mikhail to our home in Hamra. The only criticism is it is not “real” mac’n’cheese like in the USA, rather it is just pasta in sauce. However, it’s nice that you can tailor your dishes to your needs though as they have a choice if pastas, sauces and toppings as well as gluten free options. The penne with pink sauce, sausage and bacon was...
