Amazing hotel located in a lively part of Beirut.
Rooms Clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated There is air conditioning Rooms have their own private bathrooms but it's completely open concept (i.e., no door or even curtain covering the shower or toilet). No issue at all if you're travelling alone, but something you may want to consider if you're sharing a room with someone you're not THAT close with. There isn't much in the way of soundproofing, so light sleepers may want to bring earplugs and a white noise machine
WiFi Good, stable 24/7 connection throughout the hotel
Staff Incredibly friendly and helpful. They really go out of their way to provide excellent service. They speak English as well. The hotel is also responsive through email and WhatsApp
Breakfast Amazing. They serve traditional food and the pita is made fresh on site. Seriously delicious.
Location The hotel is located in a lively part of the city, with several bars and restaurants within walking distance
Check-in/Check-out Very easy. I did have a slight issue with their system not showing that I had already paid, but this was quickly and easily resolved when I produced proof of payment. Credit cards are accepted Front desk is not staffed 24/7. I didn't find this to be an issue, but something to bear in mind if it's important for you.
Other: The hotel can easily arrange for a taxi - including airport drop-off/pick-up. For airport pickup, just email them a few days before your arrival and they can make the arrangement There didn't seem to be a lift, but that was never an issue as there's almost always someone around to help you with your luggage They have a rooftop bar! The food and drink are amazing
Overall, I enjoyed my time at Beit Toureef and would definitely...
Read moreI have only good things to say about Beit Toureef. I genuinely felt at home and comfortable here. To start, their team was incredibly (and unnecessarily...really, I troubled them maybe) accommodating and patient with my slow process of asking many questions and eventually deciding to book. I couldn't be more happy that I ultimately ended up here.
Here are some some tiny details from out trip that may help future travellers looking at Google reviews:
The team can help coordinate airport pick ups/drop offs. Very accommodating requests, information, etc. We checked in quite early. The lighting, flooring, rooms, tables, door tags all had an amazing aesthetic. All members of their team were kind, hospitable, and brought the perfect balance of energy, care and space. There are several...dozens of places of places to grab a bite to eat. Restaurants, a foron, icecream shop, supermarket, etc... all close! There is a shared table in the common room. A great place to sit and get some work done. The terrace is also lovely.
There is some feedback from other reviewers about electricity. I would not let this comment influence a potential visitor's decision to book. You never know when it comes to electricity, and even if it goes out... it will come back :)
Beit Toureef may soon be serving a really delightful breakfast. If you have the opportunity to enjoy it, do not miss it.
Whenever back in Beirut, I will always hope to stay at Beit Toureef. The Beit Toureef team has a thoughtful, well-intentioned, and beautiful project and vision in mind for tourism and connecting the world to villages across Lebanon. I can't wait to see where there project goes, and I encourage anyone that has the time and resources to stay...
Read moreMy husband and I stayed the night at Beit Toureef the day before we were headed to the airport to return home. It was so welcoming and felt like all the best of the incredible Lebanese hospitality that is renowned all over the world. ||The hotel is literally an old home that has been beautifully preserved and updated for a very comfortable atmosphere. The architecture is beautiful, and the design elements and furnishings are perfect. ||Our room was a fusion of modern and old, and the bed, pillows and linens were so comfortable, crisp and clean. The shower and fixtures were beautiful brass and the rain shower had great water pressure, allowing for a very relaxing shower after touring around beautiful Beirut. And, as a connoisseur of good hotel toiletries, I must mention that the toiletries at Beit Toureef were lovely.||Also, one of the wonderful things about this hotel is that every room is different and has its own character. But all the rooms make guests fell very much as if they were staying in the home of a Lebanese friend or family. ||Last last but hardly least, Sessein and the staff at the hotel were so warm and welcoming. We will definitely be back - it was a real treat...
