Nerija — Restaurant in Klaipėda

Absolute horrific scam experience. This place needs to be avoided at all costs - it used to be decent but the new owners must be publicly shamed. I got completely ripped off for a pork "shashlik" that cost an outrageous 15.5 euros. The waiter didn't bother telling me they were closing soon, so I got rushed to pay before I could even try the revolting excuse for food they served me.

What I received can hardly be called food - it wasn't an actual shashlik, just 4 tiny, clearly not fresh pieces of foul-smelling, completely tasteless and fatty meat that seemed like they were just tossed in the oven. It was so utterly disgusting that it was inedible. But I was still forced to pay full price for this plate of literal garbage the second I took a bite.

When I requested to speak to the cowardly owner about this scam, I was told they refused because they felt "shy." Can you believe that ridiculous excuse? Not a single staff member had the decency to offer a refund for the repulsive leftovers I got ripped off for.

This place is a total scam that serves inedible slop while robbing customers blind. I'll never return and neither should anyone else who values their money and taste buds. The shameless owner/manager should be held accountable - I'm filing a chargeback and reporting them for food inspection. Avoid this scam establishment at all costs unless you want to waste your money while being served...

Unfortunately this place can’t live up to normal standards. Waited for 10 min for drinks, another 15 min for starters that was served ice cold from the freezer, 30 minutes later we asked when main course would come - they had to check. No reply on the food but it took over 50 minutes after cold starter. Second order of beer (3beer) took 15 min from moment I ordered till we got them. Whole party got frustrated and kid were crying for food after 1 hour… Don’t go here, a snack anywhere else will make you happier. FYI. It was not busy when we arrived or when we left, just poor service and understanding for what paying...

Avoid this place at any cost- overpriced and with an extremely arrogant management (look at their response to one of the latest reviews- instead of accepting the fact that customers should be informed about long waiting times (it took 2 hours to get food) they blame in a review response that “mothers had too many beers (we were a company of 8 with a child and ordered 6 beers in total and I myself did not have alcohol). People like that should not be in hospitality industry- poor Soviet relict- just sad places like this still exist...
