The museum is pretty ambiental and gloomy, designed as the interior of a ship and you even hear the mystical waves of Baltic Sea splashing the entire time so you get immersed deeper and deeper in the history, politics, religion and life of this castle, city, and its inhabitants as you explore the exhibits. English audio guide is superb, and there is also enough English description with the exhibits. Never realised how much has happened in this area! Very interesting museum. Every stand is very unique. If possible use an audio guide on your visit. A lot of history with examples and explanations. Kids and adults can find something unusual to learn. We spent more than 2 hours on the first exhibition. Recommend visiting this place on weekdays. There is a very big chance to be alone...
