Sakutis — Restaurant in Neringa

What a horrible experience here. We ordered two salads, and one meat dish from “menu of the day”. Certain dishes state on the menu that they may take longer. Our dishes were not in this list. We Waited 1 hour for this food. What made it worse was that the waitress did not come up to us a single time to let us know that there is a delay, and did not say anything during our time of order. When I came up to her myself to asked why it’s taking one hour, she went to check in the kitchen. I sat back down at our table. Just a few minutes later a different waitress (or maybe chef) came with some of the food, no apology- she told us VERY rudely that some food takes longer And we can’t always get what we want. She did not specificy anything else what is taking long from our simple order. No apology. We informed her that all the tables that came after us, also with Meat dishes, were already served. The lady was so rude that we were shocked. Not a single apology. And of course food arrived once I asked, So very likely that they just forgot our order. Very poor communication. Simple letting us know...

The food we ordered was below what I would make at home, especially the meat, and I am not the best chef.

I ordered "pork chops", I was afraid it would not be enough, but since it said "chops", I thought it would be multiple. As you can see on the picture, you get one. Which is basically a kids menu.

The meat was alright, and so was the rest of my dish.

My friends ordered the chicken burger, which was not something she was impressed with. Another ordered another dish with pork, it was dry and the sauce was not impressive. Most people would be able to make it better themselves (I don't remember the name, and they don't have it in English online)

People are saying that it was not overpriced for the location, but when we checked the restaurants that are located around this place, they all had similar prices. So I would not say that it is cheaper than the restaurants close by, especially with the little amount...

The most basic food ever. If you can go to the other restaurant in the same building it will be alot better then Sakutis. Waiter looked like he hated his job(understandably he needs to serve people literally the most boring food ever). Dont worry its normal that plates go back to the kitchen with 1/4 of the food left 90% of the time because its just that basic. There are alot better options than Sakutis in Nida for the same price. The price is like all other restourants in the area but you literally get served dissapointment for the fact that you spend money and time on this establishment. Can't recommend it. Oh and by the way, we ate the chicken burger and the daily fish with rice. The chicken burger is the basic McDonalds taste but looked better than the original. The fries were just plain and unseasoned. So yeah a trip to a McDonalds would make you happier than this for even a...
