We came to this restaurant as a group of friends and unfortunately, our experience was quite mixed. We ordered snacks and main dishes. Two couples received their snacks before the mains, but the third snack only arrived together with the main meals—even though we double-checked with the staff and were told it would be out "in a minute." When the late snack finally came, it arrived alongside the main courses. The staff offered to remove it from the bill if we didn't eat it, we accepted snacks. As for the food: The shrimp salads were delicious but quite small. Chicken salads were good, though not as impressive. Pizzas were tasty but a bit dry—some olive oil was needed, which we had to request separately. The double beef burgers (two portions) came cooked rare to medium, even though we were never asked how we wanted them done. While the food overall was good and we enjoyed most of it, the service left a lot to be desired. The staff was quite rude, and no one asked if we were satisfied with our meals at any point. Great kitchen, but really disappointing service…

We went in on Sunday evening, the female waiting staff were very rude, not just ambivalent or incompetent, but rude. We were made to feel like a real inconvenience. I asked a question about whether a product had dairy in and never received an answer before food was brought out. My son has a dairy intolerance but as the food had been brought out he felt he couldn’t return. My food was brought out cold, I tried to get attention but to no avail, so ate as hadn’t eaten all day. Presentation was very poor. We were not checked on and plates weren’t cleared and we weren’t asked if we wanted dessert or anything. I tried to get attention to get bill and ended up having to go in. Again the waitress was rude. The prices are not cheap either. This really spoilt our evening. I strongly suggest this place should be avoided.

We ordered the burrata and mozzarella salads and pasta with cream sauce for the kids. The mozzarella salad was superb, very delicious, balanced, and filling. The kids' pastas were good for their picky taste buds, and approval was expressed. The burrata salad was quite good, but lacked a side pairing, like a slice of bread, some more greenery, and was surprisingly quite small. The atmosphere was nice, seating outside and inside was offered. The service was okay. When prompted that we're quite hungry and have some dietary restrictions, the waitress didn't really try to suggest any possible meal options, but was kind nonetheless.

Restaurant Review:

I recently had the opportunity to dine at a restaurant and I'd like to share my experience. Overall, I found some aspects of the restaurant to be disappointing, but I appreciated the efforts made by the staff to rectify the situation.

Firstly, the portion sizes were unexpectedly small, leaving me feeling a bit unsatisfied. Additionally, the salad was served without any bread, which was a bit unusual. However, I must note that the service staff initially forgot to provide utensils, but they promptly rectified the issue and brought them to us.

Unfortunately, the salad itself lacked freshness. The vegetables appeared wilted and the flavors were not as vibrant as one would expect. It was a letdown in terms of quality.

On a positive note, the restaurant had a beautiful terrace that was perfect for enjoying drinks. It provided a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere.

Despite the shortcomings, the restaurant's kitchen staff went the extra mile to address our concerns. They apologized for the inconveniences and offered us some cake as a gesture of goodwill. They also provided a small discount on our bill. Their efforts to make amends were commendable.

In conclusion, while there were some disappointments regarding the portion sizes, the lack of bread with the salad, and the freshness of the salad, the restaurant's beautiful terrace and the sincere efforts of the kitchen staff to make things right should be taken into...

Benefits: good location and outdoor seating pet friendly helpful and pleasant waiters generous food portions good coffee quite nice pizzas with a tasty crust

What didn't impress us: 45 minute wait for a pizza... I get it, it's a weekend, it's lunch time, pizza is their most popular dish - but the least they could do is let the customer know when they order that it will take a long time to get their food. The waiter was sweet and apologetic when I finally (after having waited for 40 mins ) asked him about our pizza - however, he should have been the one to come up to us and inform us much much earlier about the long wait. "table water" was quite stale and muddy in colour and seemed like it had been standing out for quite a while. The taste was ugh. I'd say those 2 euros is asking a lot for stale tap water with a slice of lemon and orange... quite pricey - but then again, everything in Neringa is..

All in all, I'd probably come back but I'd definitely ask about the prep time before ordering! Oh and no "table water"... Just have a coffee...
