I recently visited Restaurant MANAMI at Vilnius Airport during a layover, and it was an extremely disappointing experience. After placing my order through a QR code, I waited, only to find that it was self-service—a fact that wasn’t communicated in advance. When I picked up only part of my order, I was told the remaining sushi would take 20 more minutes, which later increased to 40 minutes, with all refund requests denied. Adding to the frustration, the staff was unhelpful and even dismissive. The staff handled the situation unprofessionally - insisting I accept a lower quality replacement from their refrigerated stock. When I declined due to dietary preferences, server questioned my choices in confrontational manner. Meanwhile, my order number kept flashing on the screen, giving the impression that my food was being prepared, only to disappear and reappear repeatedly, making the wait even more confusing. The same happened when after an hour of delays I refused to wait more due lack of time before the next flight I was asked about exact time of flight, because server wanted to make timing calculations by herself :D The server suggested I should contact them next time before ordering through the QR code to check on preparation times—a suggestion that contradicts the very idea of streamlined, efficient ordering. I eventually received a partial refund but was left with a rude comment from the server, which made an already poor experience feel worse. Overall, this experience was frustrating and lacked any respect for customers' time or needs. For a busy airport restaurant, the inefficiency and dismissive service were unacceptable. Food was good despite ramen was way too salty, but I would not recommend this place to...
Read moreI ordered the Ebi Jaki Soba, and I wish I didn’t. first of all When I was waiting for my order I observed the chef, cook, then wash the pot himself/rinse it then use it to cook something else. and so on. it wasn’t clear to me which of the two pots in front of him were dedicated for what, given the extensive menu. and I didn’t think he even washed things well enough. Also why is the chef washing things and cooking in the same time. Then I got the meal, it was horrible. Extremely salty, the noodles were overcooked and extremely hot while the shrimp in the plate was barely warm but also overcooked. it’s like the shrimps were cooked before and he just warmed them again with noodles. I really couldn’t taste anything except salt and the only reason i ate even part of the meal is that I was pretty hungry. usually when you are starving everything tastes better, not here. After I left i checked the reviews and wished I checked them before I ordered. I’m not sure why this place is not improving despite all the negative comments. I don’t like to leave very negative reviews and usually i just stay quiet but this time...
Read moreFor such a small establishment food seems to be absolutely outstanding, service is smartly superb - the ticket system is super user friendly, you know what is going on and I find this a key element for an establishment at an airport where time is important. I have ordered a Tom Yum soup, it had glass noodles, 3 tiger prawns and 2 slices of beef, broth felt as amazing as seeing a sunset with your partner. Staff were very helpfull and friendly, the only thing I was disappointed that I did not get the option to leave a credit card tip personally to the Arturas for taking my order. He has helped me...
