So called Heineken bar has really impressed us! Border with Russia is closed, but you can experience world-famous world's worst service not leaving EU, just in Vilnius airport! The place is open officially by google till 8pm. We arrived 6.30pm, 2 of us ordered food, 2 were answering urgent emails. Burger was ok, soup was ok, the waitress delivered beer and afterwards passed us 18.45 and 18.50. No info. 2 of us started to scroll menu to order ca 18.55, but when suddenly all lights we shut off, however there were customers in 4 tables, we got confused. App allowed to order and we startred to pay, but were bit afraid, that maybe we will not get the footheealked to desk, asked there and the waitress yelled to us, that we close at 19.00!!! I just mentioned, that would be nice to mention, when you delivered beer to our table 18.45, that we close soon.. she yelled, that we close 19.00 and showed her phone clock 19.03! Google still shows opening -20.00, nowhere was visibly any info with opening hours. Way to go to..... Sheremetyevo! Happily there was Manami close to Heineken bar, was open 19.05... served nice soups and stews,...
Read moreWhile waiting for our flight, we noticed a small children's play area and were happy to see it, especially with our young child. It wasn’t very well maintained—there were broken books and other worn-out items—but at least it was something. There were carpets and beanbags, and our child was happily playing there. Several workers passed by without paying any attention to us until one of them suddenly turned to us and asked if we had already ordered something. We declined, confused, only to find out that this play area was actually part of a restaurant. The area didn’t seem to be a private play zone at all, as it wasn’t clearly marked or even connected to the restaurant.
To clarify, the worker didn’t just ask if we wanted to make a purchase – she rudely demanded that we leave because we hadn’t bought anything.
We would have been happy to buy a coffee while our child played, but instead, we were kicked out in a very unpleasant manner. This experience was disappointing and not at all reflective of the Vilnius Airport or Lithuania we know. A restaurant like this has no place...

First of all, what's up with the QR codes for menu ? Who thought it was a good idea?
I had to wait a bit before I was approached by waitress, with a question, did you decide what to order?
Only then I figured out there was a QR code on the table... Asking for paper menu resulted in an argument that I should use my phone, but then it wouldn't work if there is no internet connection.... Eventually I got the paper menu.
The selection is good, prices are high. I've went with homemade sausages, and asked to replace fries with salad instead, waitress didn't really understand me at all, so I had to switch to Russian instead. Overall they made changes so that's good.
Now the sausages were good, great taste, juicy, quite enjoyed it, but the salad was overfilled with oil, why would you do that?
After the meal I've asked for the bill, and turned out they lost my order! One of the other waitress came by to ask what did I order !
Quite funny indeed, but that's not the experience I was...
