Podenco Bodega: A Paella Lover's Paradise
If you're looking for a truly authentic Spanish dining experience in Luxembourg, Podenco Bodega is an absolute must-visit. I recently enjoyed a delightful Corporate Team dinner there, and we were all blown away by the incredible paella buffet.
The variety of paellas on offer was simply astounding. From classic seafood paella to spicy chorizo paella, there was something to satisfy every palate. Each dish was cooked to perfection, with the rice being tender and flavorful, and the ingredients bursting with fresh taste. The presentation was also top-notch, making the buffet even more visually appealing.
Beyond the paella, the rest of the menu offered a tempting selection of Spanish tapas and other dishes. We tried several different items, and everything was delicious. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.
If you're a fan of paella or simply looking for a great Spanish restaurant in Luxembourg, I highly recommend Podenco Bodega. You won't be...
Read moreI had been to this restaurant five years ago and already found it below average, but I decided to give it another chance as it changed address meanwhile. Unfortunately, the experience was even worse this time.
The tapas were very mediocre — poor quality ingredients and little flavor. The real problem, however, was the paella: when ordering we were not told that it would take an hour and a half to prepare. After waiting an hour, we asked and were told to wait another 30 -45 minutes. At that point, we refused, as this was completely unacceptable. The alternative dishes we ordered instead were equally disappointing in both taste and quality.
What made the situation even more frustrating was the complete lack of professionalism. There was no apology in action not even the courtesy of offering the replacement dishes free of charge. For a restaurant that presents itself as Spanish, both the food and the service are far below even a basic standard.
I cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for a genuine or enjoyable...
Read moreI remember this restaurant from its previous location in Clausen, where it offered amazing food and a cozy, intimate atmosphere. Unfortunately, that charm is long gone. Now, there are far too many tables (we were seated on the upper floor), and the seating is uncomfortably cramped. The service was disappointing — it took 20 minutes for anyone to take our order, despite the restaurant being half-empty, and no drinks or bread were offered in the meantime. When I requested an extra glass of wine, the waiter forgot to bring it but still added it to the bill. The food was mediocre at best, yet the prices are comparable to a Michelin-starred restaurant. I won’t...
