I recently had the pleasure of dining at "Toranj," a hidden Persian Gem restaurant located in the heart of the Luxembourg city.
From the moment I stepped inside, it was nice atmosphere. This review aims to highlight the exceptional dining experience I had at this establishment and also with a particular focus on its delicious Persian cuisine and convenient parking availability.
The main attraction of the show at Toranj is undoubtedly the food. The menu offers a diverse selection of authentic Persian dishes with visual menu, each prepared with utmost care and attention to detail. From aromatic saffron-infused rice dishes to succulent kebabs, every bite was a delightful exploration of flavors. The ingredients used were fresh, and the dishes were skillfully seasoned, striking the perfect balance between spices and herbs. It have great presentation and you can see the person grillling mouthwatering food near the counter.
The staff members were attentive, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist. They were well-versed in the intricacies of Persian cuisine, providing recommendations and answering any questions about the menu.
The restaurant's atmosphere was elegant, with comfortable seating with either inside or outside option. Plus point they are available at night time.
The Conclusion is they created a pleasant environment for an intimate dinner or a gathering with friends and family. I have a great feeling that the restaurant will have a great potential and it growing strong and...

The restaurant is not very clean and the floor is sticky, not to mention the smell of burning in the restaurant, The restaurant owner was not very friendly, unable to understand our orders (speaking only Turkish and rough German) and we could not clearly communicate our dissatisfaction. The choice of food was very limited as almost nothing proposed on the menu was available. To which, the restaurant owner answers "If I don't have baklava, I'm not going to give you baklava, when I have it, I serve you some, when I don't, I don't serve you any". The restaurant owner forgot the appetizer, we receive directly the ....plats... which are a plate of fries, two spoons of rice in a "ready to eat" bag, and canned peppers heated in the microwave (visible from the service room). When dessert arrived, the restaurant owner brought us a burnt dessert full of oil (see photo) and told us that this was the norm. Annoyed, we ask to leave the restaurant. The restaurant owner asked us again to pay for the bottle of water (that we asked 3 times). My friend says to him that this is really not correct. To which, the restaurant owner answers "If you are not happy, you don't have to come. Don't ever come here again!" and slammed the door on our backs. Shocked by this event, my friend and I did not know...
Read moreI will try again to update my comments because it was a mediacore experience for me and i would like to like here. Pros; the owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming, they have künefe and fırın sütlaç which are special and hard to find in Europe, easy accessible with own parking lot cooked with real fire, not on electrical oven Cons; ordered lahmacun and waited 10 minutes to find out their chef is not there to cook it, didn't like the lamp meat, it was more smelly then expected, couldn't notice any sign of the place, difficult to find the entrance, they are working understaffed, so it is a bit slow to get a service, a bit pricey...
