We found this little place tucked down one of the side streets quite by accident. And I'm so glad we decided to look a bit more before settling on a place to eat lunch. It was a lovely addition to my birthday.
This was the first time I've ever had Flammekueche. It was delicious! Sort of like pizza, but with a much lighter, airy crust and 3 basic toppings. The restaurant had several options if you wanted to deviate from the traditional version. The apfelstrudel with ice cream was equally delicious and the coffee was strong.
Our waitress was super friendly and very prompt, so we didn't end up waiting a long time in between courses.
I didn't go inside, so I unfortunately don't know how accessible it is for wheelchair users.

What surprised me was actually the quality of the food🥘, for a simple street bistro. The personel was very kind and gentle, the plates 🍽 arrived pretty fast and the food was tasty. I noticed that my italian hamburger 🍔actually had a home made bread 🍞, and the tomatoes 🍅 were the sweetest and tastiest i've ever had in the last years (like they were grown in their personal garden ). My husband was also thrilled by his salmon plate, and the way my pink schweppes 🍹 was served with strawberries🍓.
