I recently visited this restaurant with my work colleagues, excited to try their vegan options. I ordered the Vegan Meatball Stroganoff, expecting a classic Stroganoff dish with mushroom sauce, pasta, and vegan meatballs. Unfortunately, what I received was far from my expectations.

The dish I was served had noodles with yellow sauce with some vegetables but lacked the vegan meatballs and the promised mushroom mix. I initially thought this wasn’t my dish and sent it back. Another colleague also had to send their dish back because it lacked the vegetables listed on the menu. When my dish returned, I was told it was correct but the new chef had forgotten the vegan meatballs.

To my surprise, the sauce didn’t taste like mushroom sauce. Instead, it was a mustard sauce, which was not mentioned on the menu. I personally dislike mustard sauce, and this completely killed my appetite. The waiter confirmed it was a mushroom mustard sauce mix. Even when the vegan meatballs arrived later, they were dry and tasteless, unlike an original Stroganoff where the meatballs soak up the sauce's flavor.

Despite the waiters' kind and apologetic attitude, the handling of the situation by the management was disappointing. They offered me another dish, but by then, my appetite was gone. I didn’t expect to have to pay the full price for a dish I couldn’t eat. The manager insisted I pay because I didn’t accept a replacement dish. This approach felt unfair, especially since the dish I received wasn’t as described on the menu. If i knew it would end like this i wouldve ordered some fries for 5€ if it means i would not need to pay 25€ for my plate that also got taken away after i barely touched it.

While my colleagues enjoyed their meals, my experience was quite the opposite. I appreciate the wait staff's efforts, but the management’s handling of the situation left me very unsatisfied. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously to improve their service and ensure menu descriptions...

After a lovely hike, my friends and I were really looking forward to a good meal. We chose this restaurant based on social media recommendations and were happy to see a wide range of vegan options. Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be disappointing.

We ordered a shared appetizer that took 45 minutes to arrive. It was delicious, but the long wait set a bad tone. After our plate was cleared, we confirmed we were ready for the main course — but another hour passed without food. Despite several attempts, it took 15 more minutes to get a server's attention, who left mid-conversation without explanation. One of our friends had to leave without eating due to the delay.

Eventually, one (wrong) dish came out and was taken back. After another 15-minute wait, our meals finally arrived — one of them was not even warm. At that point, we were too hungry to complain further. The mains were just okay, while the dessert (a strawberry tiramisu that felt more like a panna cotta) was also average.

We received a brief apology and one complimentary drink — the cheapest item on the bill — which felt inadequate for a group of four who spent over three hours there, much of it just waiting. When I shared polite feedback, the only response was, “I can’t do more than apologize.”

We left feeling unwelcome and disappointed. The restaurant has potential, but communication and service need serious...

Okay, I never write reviews for restaurant because usually I have nothing to complain. But… we sat down at a table that was not reserved. I had to ask the waiter for drinks and they would not come to us themselves. Thats okay it was busy so we’ll let that one slide but we asked for a menu when we ordered drinks and we did not get one. So we had to ask for a menu again and the waiter just said “no”. Thats when we decided to go to another restaurant. I went to pay for the drinks and I talked about it with the staff and I respect them. I hope it’s just a misunderstanding. The cocktails were good tho :)

Edit for the reply:

We never complained about the ambience, and we have every right to give two stars for the service. Saying “bro” was a mistake but we are tourists and english is not my first language. We talked about it with the staff, apologised and shook hands. We gave respect by staying patient and asking for drinks and menu’s etc. We tried to give respect but did not...

Located at a bit of an odd square in Echternach, with a nice terras and friendly service. It is exciting to see so many vegan and vegetarian options in a toen like Echternach! Fully surprised to find such a great choice in one place! From vegan pinsa to vegan hot pan options. And of course the vegan burgers and flammkuchen. Including vegan salmon or tuna options. Interesting selection and also good desserts. We had the tuna pinsa and vegan curry. The curry was a bit of a small dish, but very tasty. The pinsa huge and loaded. The vegan tuna product was ok, but i would recommend the vuna (garden Gourmet) instead. Because it behaves better in the oven and has a less salty taste with better fibrous feeling. Anyway, it was a pleasure to be in a place with so many choices. The vegan chocolate fondue was easily enough for two!

The food was ok, the lady got our order wrong to start, it was very expensive for a chicken burger. Myself and daughter had the same meal both different sizes one had a very small piece of chicken in side little amount of bacon and cheese. We waited over 40 mins for some burgers and chips, people were smoking and lots of wasps around us. We did ask to sit inside but were told they were full but when we went in to the toilet there were lots of space. My husband had a smash burger and said it was nice. My daughter had a gluten free burger she said it was nice but could have had more cheese and bacon inside as again very little amount and lots of bread. It was a shame as Inside did look very nice.

Amazing place. Squeezed us in when they were really busy, the friendly staff made us feel very welcome. The food was incredible - we had he steakhouse pan (beef & spaetzl in a rich gravy) which was simply perfect warming food after a wet and cold autumn day of hiking, then we had the apple and cinnamon cheesecake and the vanille flammkuch for dessert, both really lovely. The menu was great, and catered really well for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans alike, with about a third of the food being vegan (and all the desserts were vegan). Don't miss this!
