Um Scheff — Restaurant in Remich

We arrived around 1pm, we got our drinks quickly, but since we couldn't decide what we would have, the waiter gave us more time. Like 20min more. He forgot about us, then when i told him we were ready to order he replied some other waiter will take our order. The other waiter took first the order from all other tables. I even waved at him and while coming to our table he stopped by another table and took their order first! It took them more than one and a half hour to bring us food. The waiter said it wasn't his fault and that they cannot do much. Like if as I was responsible of the kitchen there. Very alibistic. I then asked a waiter when we will have our meals, he said he didn't know. I told him to go to the kitchen and to ask! Obviously. He came back in 10min saying someone went to the kitchen. That someone never came back. I hope he is alright. I went to see another waiter. Then minutes later he said it would take only five min to have our food. Another 10 min later it was only 2 min. Then, 12min later we got our meals. No complimentary drinks, nothing. They gave us a fist of peanuts (for five persons) and some bread with butter. Why not a cabbage next time, really. I mean, they had some issue in the kitchen, that can happen. But they handled it like amateurs. They didn't communicate with the clients - there were plenty of angry customers. And of top of that the cote de veau was below...

It was my place to go when I went to Remich with friends. Today Friday 15th we were three people there was some crowd but it was not packed. We ordered our drinks and a meal each. (Kniddelen, Cordon Bleu and Gaelic Shrimp) 2 meals arrived , we asked about the third they said they forgot to put it in(which can happen). So they said it will arrive directly. At least 5-6 other tables were served before and some that arrived after we got our 2 meals . We waited over 30 min for the garlic shrimps and we did not get a "Sorry" or complimentary drink for that person at all. They did not even check on us during that time , they fully ignored us. We told two servers that we are still waiting for the dish. When it arrived we finally ate all together , two meals were cold (because we thought directly would be direct..). But the food was good though. Services though has to be more attentive. We paid and left. To be honest a sorry and getting the shrimp done as quick as possible would be the least we...

We were looking for a restaurant to at on Saturday at 8:45 PM and we passed by this place. The kitchen was still open. I ate "Veggie Burger with Salad" here and was amazed by how well it was made 🍔 ! Better than any burger I ever ate! And the salad was more than excellent 🥗 ! The staff were welcoming and nice. The waitress kept suggesting non-alcoholic drinks for me helped me decide. The atmosphere wa pleasant. The place is so close to the river, you can see the ships. When I ordered the Veggie Burger (which comes with both a salad and fries on the side), I asked the waitress if they could replace the fries of my order with only salad (because I don't eat fried food) and they did so gladly. You can put a candle on your table. It radiates with cozy and warm vibes. Highly recommend...
