KFC Lotus's Ampang — Restaurant in Ampang Jaya Municipal Council

No words can literally express my disappointment with this KFC outlet! The Counter Malay girl with the black uniform was extremely rude. It was 7.40pm and I came to this outlet after a tiring grocery run with my kids only to stand in a queue for more than 45 minutes and there were only two people in the queue before me. When it came to my turn to order, very bluntly and without care, she told me and my kids that ‘Sorry, ayam dah habis’, and I was like do I need to wait for you to prepare a new batch of chicken? She then responds with a high pitched tone saying ‘Kita tak goreng lagi sebab dah nak tutup!’ I was dumbfounded. It was only 8.20pm, how can they be closing now?! I asked , she kept saying ‘ dah nak tutup, u pergilah KFC lain’ I then told her, next time if you have limited chicken in stock, please inform the customers in queue that fried chicken will not be enough and you’ll be ‘closing’ , so that we don’t need to waste our time standing in queue with kids for nothing! I walked off and headed to KFC Pandan Indah and the service there was FANTASTIC! Please, for the love of God, hire a better team in this...

This outlet is is probably the worst KFC outlet in the whole KL and Ampang area. The staff are too busy screwing around at the back to pay any attention to customer care and food items are always missing from my order. I ordered the mantao zinger burger and the bread seemed like it had been fried 5 times it was as hard as a rock. And this is supposed to be the new item that KFC is hyping up! I even ordered the cheesy balls which are the new item but it was never given to me.

Your staff might say it's because it's busy period so that can't pay attention but there were only 5 customers in the restaurant that day because the air conditioning was broken. Please make the effort to re-train or just outright replace all of the staff because they are definitely damaging your image in the eyes...

After loads of shopping in Tesco we hungry bunch decided to end up in KFC for some lunch at around 2PM, after several attempts we discovered most of the items were not available, terribly disappointed we ordered what was available. A twister meal, and a mango peach vanilla pudding. While most of the items on the meal was good, the fries were sad, they were limp, oily, soggy and cold. We immediately requested for a replacement and after about 3 minutes was delivered. Not sure why we were even served those sad fries initially, service was not very attentive. Finally we had to go elsewhere to...
