Their buffet is going to be their downfall. Workers do not explain rules of buffet before going in. Even the workers are unclear on their rules. Could not answer me when asked for clarification on limitation of 1st round ordering. Popular items unavailable (went to the most expensive slot. Weekend night to have the best experience) was told chicken items were sold out in the morning. Service is slow. So don't expect you can order many rounds. Missing items. Cashier mistake. POS system needs a fix as each individual item need to give as comp so if they forget to comp you they will charge you extra for their original item pricing.
Many easy fix can be done from issues 1 to 6. Hope you still survive. Or rather just pick a lane. Go ala carte or go all you can eat.
Pro tips for eaters: Know the rules. A. It is one hour limit. B. Reordering is only available after you finish your food. C. There is a 5 items limit per table second round onwards for extra orders. C. No reordering 20mins before your slot ends. Meaning you only have 40mins of ordering. D. Rm5 for 100g wastage. Order as much as you want on 1st round. Don't expect fast service. It is 180g~250g of food per portion. Don't wise-ass and waste food. So I recommend 5 items you will probably be full by then. Wait for crowd to die down. My play was ordering 5 dishes per round. Managed to get two rounds in. (7p.m. to 8p.m. 3 table of customer) Smile and be patient. Go for it if you like carbs. Check your bill.
Hoping these can ease all eaters out there. Small businesses are dying writing all these hoping this shop can survive. I had my fill. So at least you don't go in clueless. Dine in date -16th March 2025. They obviously trying to figure this thing out so might have changes down the line. Will go for morning slot and see how hectic is it....
Read moreCame for the ala carte buffet during lunch. The only surviving grace was the coffee. The concept is unique i.e. there's no buffet kopitiam around but the execution and quality of food was poor. Some tips if you are interested to try:
Order as many dishes you can consume on your first order - there's a time limit of 1 hour to place as many orders as you can, which is not written in the promo. The service is extremely slow so be prepared to wait for 30 mins just for your first order. If you want to order 2nd round, wait for another 30 mins to be served. Overall, I stayed for about 2 hours and had not ended up full 🙃
Drinks, tong sui and dishes are excluded.
Avoid nasi lemak fried chicken - the portion is ok but the fried chicken is dry and overcooked. Worse of all, the sambal is literally a baby teaspoon size. So we had to eat plain coconut rice.
Careful of the soft boil eggs. We ordered 2 soft boil eggs and both were rotten. But waitress was kind enough to replace them.
Waiters or waitresses may prevent you from over ordering by telling you that they forgot to key in the order due to high workload and expect you to wait longer so you cancel it. I'm not sure if this was an honest mistake but just take note when you're visiting there.
A table next to us was complaining about the slow service and one table even walked off. For a buffet, it's worth the price if u can consume 2 mains and some bread (croissant, polo bun). Just don't expect quality food and be...
Read moreCame here for the buffet programme,
According to the waiter and waitress,
They came with their own t&c each of them
Person a:
sorry cannot do buffet since code applied in system cannot be deleted.” Eventhough the code is the same 😅
Person b:
can change but we will count wastage, so I said okay sure.. then she said only 40 minutes allowed to eat, i said okay. Then she said “please eat next time, take ala-carte” , i was shocked.
I used to patron this restaurant way back , initially it was full then by time it dropped. When im here. Barely 2 person dining around lunch time and with a big banner calling people to try their buffet 😂
At the end, i paid ala-carte price and left without a fuss.
Things to be improved,
Be honest and open with your buffet strategy Train your staffs with the t&c Increase your pan mee size , its just a mouthful compared to last few months 🤣 Try to do honest business , it will bring back goodness to you.
Atleast one local can be in shop to manage the foreigners. Such a pity they are clueless and confused.
This might be my last visit here but i wish all the best to...
