Restaurant serves good zi char. My favourite is the hot plate tofu, which was full of flavour and a little too salty. Price is affordable. If you sit inside there’s air con and fans so it might get a little chilly for some people. Place is clean.
Forgive me for the half-eaten food in my picture lol.
Aside from that this place doesn’t really get crowded even during peak. The locals around here should know there’s another parking spot for cars in the open area just west of this restaurant, but it is not lighted at all so be mindful of what you leave in the car. Another option is to park just in front of this restaurant.
The reason why I’m giving 2 stars even though the food is good is because the boss likes to charge extra if he knows you’re a Singaporean or foreigner. I always check the receipt after eating and he has charged me 10-20 RM extra on several occasions. Watch out for the boss, he’s the one always wearing a waist pouch and an uncle-style shirt. Always calculate your receipt after eating.
This is poor professionalism and quite frankly a scummy business tactic, which I hope regardless of whether you’re Singaporean, foreigner or Malaysian, would not support...
Read moreWe came here for dinner because our favourite restaurant was closed on Tuesday evening. Clean and nice and cool with aircon. Food: 75% of the food we ordered was good. Only a quater of the food wasn't up to the standard, this is according to my guests remarks. The 3 Kings Eggs was good. The Salt and Pepper spare ribs was good. The Stir Fried Kai Lan was also good. Only the Salty Egg Calamari was below par in that it's rubbery and chewy. Service was fast and friendly. Fast probably because it was a quiet evening with only two other tables full apart from us. Atmosphere: was none as it was a quiet evening. A word of warning: the restaurant menu doesn't have any prices attached to each dish. Basically, the restaurant, more or less, can charge you whatever they want after you've consumed the food. We got a shock when the bill arrives and it was about 40%+ more that what our favourite restaurant...
Read moreI had a really disappointing experience at Restoran Tsin Fatt. The total bill came up to RM125, which was very expensive for the portion and quality of food served. The dishes were bland and lacked flavor, making the whole meal feel unsatisfying. For the price charged, I expected much better taste and quality. Honestly, it didn’t feel worth the money at all. There are definitely better options around for both...
